It's to strange

Diane's POV

"Have you heard the latest news? Apparently, our Alpha has found his mate." Several women were gathered and talking about something. They weren't far from where I stood at the moment. 

It's been two days since my last encounter with Hector.

"The news has spread, and everyone has heard about it. They are such a couple to envy. I even admire them, even though I haven't seen them in person." Isn't that statement too much? Praising them without even meeting them yet. Their words were so annoying, making me want to plug my ears.

I was walking to the shopping center to buy groceries, but along the way, I heard the news I'd already known since yesterday. It was an unpleasant scene that made me feel irritated all over again.
