Third person POV
Later, at a French cafe in the city, Akira, Hachi, and Toshi celebrated the two boys' passing of their job interview with a tea time with some snacks. Their meal consisted of slices of French baguette, some hot matcha tea, and some strawberries. The atmosphere in the cafe was not that busy at all. Toshi will be the one who will pay for their meal despite Akira's intention to do so.
"You two are quite interesting," Toshi said to them with a positive look on his face.
Akira and Hachi then looked at him.
"Really? Our family background?"
"Yes, I didn't know that despite my extensive research on both of you. I was very amazed that both of you came from a high background."
"Yeah, thanks, Toshi-san," Akira responded with a bit of embarrassment, "I may look prominent, but I chose to have a low profile."
"I understand."
But, all this time, the same man who was spying on them from the beginning had taken photos of them outside of the cafe. Still, Akira and Hachi are not aware of this.
After that tea time, the three of them left the cafe and went shopping for working clothes for Akira and Hachi, with their preference, of course, for some guidance.
Later, at Toshi's house, in his shared bedroom, Akira was talking to his family via a video chat in his laptop, informing them of his passing in a job interview. His family was very happy to hear, with Ian saying that his uncle will be proud of his nephew's achievement in life.
"Yeah, thanks, dad," Akira said to him. "It was not that hard, and just consisted of basic questions about us."
"That was strange, bro," Taka responded back. "Basic questions? Are they supposed to ask tough ones in a job interview?"
Since he had known about the tough job interviews in Japan, Akira just replied, "I guess it's because it's an interview for young part-timers, so that makes sense why it was so easy and child's play for me and Hachi-kun."
"Ah, I see, bro."
"Good luck on your first day at work, honey," Kae said to him.
"Do your best, kuya!" Miki exclaimed.
"Okay, I will, guys," Akira replied. "Thanks for everything. Bye!"
He then ended his video chat with them while having a positive outlook and anticipation for his first day at an agency.
The next morning, after breakfast and preparing for the day, Akira, Hachi, and Toshi went to their agency for work via train. Upon arriving, Masashi introduced the two youngsters to their regular employees, and also, reminded them to watch their mouth when talking to Akira since he was a nephew of the president of the Philippines. Because of that warning, the employees of the agency are very nervous and scared and quickly knows what will happen to them if they cross with him. But, Akira assured them that he won't using his family's power for selfish gain. But there some exceptions to it as well. After that brief introduction, and a warning, Akira and Hachi's first job as assistants is to photocopy some important documents using a copy machine at one of the offices. It was a very simple task for them, but they are willing to take it as an experience for their plan of revenge. Later, they were tasked on lifting some boxes at one of the agency's store rooms. Again that was a very simple task for them.
At the same time, the man who had been spying on Akira, Hachi, and Toshi the whole time had reported to his boss about their whereabouts. In response, his boss, a young male entrepreneur named Wao Yokawa, decided to make Akira his next target, soon.
A few days passed by, and it seems that the both of them had adapted well into the agency culture. Because of Akira's intelligence, Masashi decided to assign him and Hachi on their first case involving the supernatural. They're not doing it themselves. No, someone else will be with them for the case. And that someone is Valentino de Ritter, who was a bit surprised to hear that. But, he, as one of the agency's high-ranking officers, has to do it since it was an order from Masashi, his boss.
