Chapter 1: The Threat

(Yasha Marie Estrella)

I was in the waiting shed with my girl best friends Amythys and Marguax. We were waiting for my 5 year boyfriend. He's Eugine Vince Mendoza.

We become in a relationship when we're in 10th grade, and now the both of us are already in our 3rd year in college, I can't imagine that were reached this long, for 5 years, my life becomes perfect like in fairy tales.

I startled when Amythys and Marguax sat at my both sides.

"What the hell? If possible next time, can you please slow down when in sitting down? I will have a heart attack, because of you." me yelling at them.

"Ohh. Don't be so over react Yasha, we just saw you daydreaming, and we didn't expect that you'll be surprised." Marguax said with her usual lively personality, just like mine, well not exactly the same.

"Whatever" me, and rolled my eyes to them and looked away.

"Okay, okay. We're going, your prince is here, bye" Amythys said, and then the both of them stood up and started to walked away, while waving at my direction.

And then a handsome guy sat beside me.

"How was your day Baby?" he suddenly asked.

"Fine, just fine. It's just like an ordinary day for me. But I become happy because of the guy who's sitting beside me right now." me, and he pinch my cheek.

"Why are you so sweet today?" Eugine, then he held my right hand and fill the spaces between my fingers.

We both stood up and started to walked.

"Are you hungry?" he ask. I lean close to him.

"Yeah, I want to eat something sweet today" me, with a cheerful tone.

"Let's go then" Eugine answer and then he suddenly grab me and were about to ride a cab when I felt that someone's looking at me, I looked at my right side and there.

A girl looking at me angrily, I don't know why she's looking at me like that, but I just ignored it and hop in the car, Eugine did the same.

The cab stopped at a cafe.

I think I can eat something sweet today. We entered in the bakeshop at the same time.

"Sit here, I'll just take our order, mocha cake, right?" Eugine asked.

"Yes please." I answered and sat there, while I was waiting for Eugine, I played at me phone first.

While I'm busy playing at my cellphone, a girl suddenly appeared at my front.

"Miss, someone told me to give this to you" the girl said, I took the paper that said someone was giving me, after I took the paper the girl left hurriedly. I read what is written in that paper.

'Let go of Eugine, or else his life will be in danger'

After I read those I search for the girl who gave me this paper, but she's nowhere can to be found.

After a minute, Eugine come back and sit across mine.

"Baby, what's wrong? Did something happen? You look pale"

"Nothing, it's just that I really want to eat sweet" me and get the mocha cake that he's carried, and eat it immediately.

After we eat we went home.

The other day, I went to school early, so I go straight at the Chem lab first, because I'm a science club officer, I'm the auditor. When I'm at the door of the room, someone suddenly shout. It was Hannah Faith Alfonso, the club treasurer, that's why we're close.

"YASHA" Hannah shouted, I walked towards her direction, and sat beside her.

"Good morning" I greeted her and smiled, she smiled back.

"You're early" Hannah, well, I'm not that kind of student who goes to school early.

"Well, I woke up early" I answered her, Then I took out my notebook for the club.

"Hmm, by the way, I remembered something. President said that someone wants to give this to you" Hannah said, then give me a sheet of paper.

"From who?" I asked.

"I don't know, he didn't tell me anything" she answered

"Ahh"

"Okay, wait, I'll just look if my prof is in the room"

"Okay" me. She walked away, while I open the paper that given to me, and I read what was written on it.

'Wow, being sweet with him. Well, get ready for your punishment.'

I suddenly got nervous when I read what was written on it, I stood up and I walked towards our president direction.

"Pres, who's the one who gives this to you?" I asked him, and show him the paper.

"I don't know, she didn't introduce herself, but I think the both of you are in the same batch" pres

"Okay. Thank you Pres" me, and I walked away from him, when my phone suddenly rang, and I saw in the screen of my phone that Eugine is calling, that's why I come out of the chem lab first.

"Hi why did you call? You still have class, right?" me

"Yeah. But I missed you. Where are you?"

"Outside of the chem lab"

"Oh okay bye" he hanged up the phone. I was about to enter at the chem lab, but someone hug me from the back and said.

"Hi baby" he said. And because of that I got surprised, I suddenly removed his hands that was wrapped around my waist, and faced him.

"What the, Eugine?"

"Eugine? What happen? Did something happened?" he asked, with a sad expression.

"Sorry Baby. I woke up a little unwell. Wait, why are you here?"

"Ahh wait, by the way" Eugine, and he gave me a paper bag. "Here, given by Mommy. It's a mocha cake" him, I looked at that.

"Thank you Baby. Tell aunt, thank you"

"Okay Baby, I'm leaving, I just ran away from class, bye" Eugine, then he kiss me on my cheek, and he left, I just smiled.

I was about to enter the chem lab, when I the three of the classmates stopped me, who we're also officers of the science club.

"Ohh, where are you going?"

"Classroom, it's already 8:25 am, our class starts 8:30 am, right?" John Michael answered, the secretary of science club, and one of my closest classmate. We called him JM for short

"Hmm okay, I will just get my stuff" me

"No need. Vince is getting it" Chris Ivan, the Vice President of science club, while Vince, I mean Vincent is our department representative.

"I told you to stop calling him Vince, his name is Vincent, it's V-I-N-C-E-N-T. Vincent." I don't want to hear Eugine's second name, but I don't know why.

"Chris, how many times should Yasha tell you to stop calling me Vince, but you didn't learn" Vincent, then he give me my stuff.

We started to walk through our classroom, when we met Hannah who's going back at the club room.

"Oh, where are you going?" Hannah asked

"Our class is about to start, so we need to go" I answered

"Oh okay, Yasha. See you around" Hannah, and then we again continued to walked all the way to our classroom.

It's already lunch, I walked out of the room, when I received message from Amythys.

'Yasha, where are you? Let's have a lunch'

'I'm on my way, but I will just go to the locker room first' I reply, and I started to walked to the locker room.

I was near in the locker room, when Amythys reply.

'Okay, see you at the locker room'

So I hurried walked to the locker room, because I know that they're already there, and I'm not wrong because her and Marguax are already there.

"Oh Yasha" Amythys

"Hi guys" I greeted them and walked towards my locker.

"Ohh, where's your boyfriend?" Amythys asked.

"Not here, I'll wait to him for one hour , but don't worry, I'll join you to grab some lunch" me, I already opened my locker, when a paper fell down form there.

"What's that? Love letter?" Marguax.

"Don't tell me Yasha, you're entertaining suitor? I will remind you, you have a boyfriend, don't waste those 5 years you've been together" Amythys scold me.

"No I'm not. And I don't think that this is a love letter"

"Huh? What do you mean" Amythys, they come closer to me. I opened the paper.

'For not obeying me. Get ready' that what was written on the paper.

"What is this? It's scary?" Marguax

"I don't know"

"Maybe a threat" Amythys, me and Marguax looked at her.
