Chapter 150: For a ride

"I can only call you naive. You are truly the person who thinks that they know everything, even though their knowledge is flawed from the start."

Archbishop Nathaniel didn't agree with Eren. His faith was strong, and so was his belief. For him, Eren didn't know what he was talking about.

"Oftentimes, arrogance blinds people to reality. And when they see the truth, it's too late. All they can do is regret. It seems you are also walking the path of regret."

He tried to sow a seed of reflection in his heart.

"I am walking two paths, and neither of them is regret. There might be a few things I will regret in the future, especially some of my actions. But isn't that what being human is all about?" Eren responded.

"Being human is about making choices at every section of our lives. It's about doing things that might make you uncomfortable, as long as they benefit you," he added. "Which human doesn't have one regret or another?"
