"Back to where it all started, huh?" Leo muttered under his nose as he saw the outline of the ducal palace finally appear on the horizon.
The act of flying for three hours was ways, ways better than conquering the same distance by foot or on a horse's back… But that didn't mean it was a comfortable trip. By no means was it as pleasant as just riding a car on a smooth road with pretty much nothing but habits and instincts taking the wheel.
Then again, it was a three-hour-long torture that replaced nearly two weeks' worth of calm travel or a week's worth of rushing down south through any road they could find and through the lands that only recently came under the duke's control.
Still, after roughly three hours of hugging Mei's back while gripping down at Befolx's long neck with all the might his thighs had to offer, Leo could finally see their destination.
