Finally Practicing Correctly

I warmed up my voice got ready to sing by getting in the mood and I thought of all my sadness, and experiences that dealt with it in the past days. Instantly the song played in my mind, and I sung.

"On that day, everything seemed to still

The people walked away

The streets were empty not with cheer

And every thing seemed to go away

That's the day the sun went down Below

leaving me alone again within my own shadow

In this world of darkness I pray

Please someone find me

Please someone lead me in give me a place to stay

But sadly I say I stay here alone

In this place the sun went down

for my tomorrow

So here I die once again unable to see the light

So here I die once again unable to see the sky

So here I die once again unable to smile

As I cry out and out Why

Why

Why

Why, Do I hide

Why, Do I try

Why

Why

Why

Does it hurt all the time

When will a light flicker to lead me again

To the place I wish to call home again

When will a person lead me home

Or will the Sun Be Down Below for always"

Coming out of the song, I felt spent. Opening up my eyes, I looked at all the people staring at me. Tears glistened in all of their eyes. Some of the mothers seemed to want to offer me a place to stay. Even the men who were with their wives looked away as tears fell down the sides of their faces. I myself wasn't much better, my face to had tears. I didn't know if it was from the lyrics, my own pain, or maybe people appreciating my song for once, but truly this moment meant a lot to me.

Walking to the bathroom I started to freshen up. I heard a crowd surround the bathroom.

" See if he's trying to kill himself honey."

" That poor kid."

" He has a beautiful voice mommy."

" I'm willing to hire him a singer for my bar if he's OK with that."

The sound of the voices of these people touched me. That's when I heard it.

"Ding.

Host has used full emotions once in mission Sun Down Below- 1+ Sadness.

Host has touched the hearts of 39 people. Host has gained 39 points singing points. Using points the host can help fulfill mission requirements. This allows for completion of any and all missions."

Clicking on my mission I noticed a number next to it. Clicking on it I watched 5 points disappear and 1 practice of my song fill up. Clicking 3 more times I watched in fascination as the mission was completed.

Deciding to see the effect I tried to make my way next to single tree that was out in this part of the park I had come to. Assuring the people around me that I was just a person who was once more trying to find his way back into the entertainment industry a lot of people left feeling so much more assured the man wasn't planning on killing himself.

I started wondering why everyone was so touched by the song I sung when no song before had done so.

"Host, Sun Down Below is a Grand master level song. This level song is only found in your country once every 5 years."

Blinking at finally getting my first answer from the system, I knew what that meant. This system had been ignoring me previously, and that it was sentient.

"That's correct host, I was ignoring your questions. I want my host to seek answers on their own instead of constantly receiving them from me."

Blinking I actually understood where the system came from. It would be best for myself if I did just that so I took what it said with a grain of salt and let it be there. That was the moment I finally made it to the tree. Calming down I felt a lot of people around me bringing chairs to see what I would do next. Trying to calm down I just focused on the lyrics given to me and that's when I felt the change take hold. My sadness was amplified from earlier doubling my feeling contained with in the song.

"On that day, everything seemed to still"

Some seemed disappointed and decided to leave, some decided to go after I had sung this time, other's however seemed to feel something different about this time.

"The people walked away"

The line seemed to still those who was planning to walk away, guilt took over their hearts. Just like those who hurt the person in front of them enough to sing with such sadness, they to were just going to walk away.

"The streets were empty not with cheer

And every thing seemed to go away"

The lines struck all those there once more. Tears no longer joy to hear such a great song stayed for all those their. And in that moment they to felt the loneliness of the world that this young man in front of them had to experience.
