Chapter 4

Arthur woke up realising how stupid he'd been a person in a carriage that everyone was looking at she was bound to be important of course she'd have well trained guards and then he realised he was in a damp dingy dark dungeon it was very similar to the mines in the way it smelled foul like blood death and excrement all mixed together the only things different here were the fact that this place had guards and didn't have a layer of the poisonous lead coating everything he then looked around he was in a cage with what looked like iron bars and a simple lock that looked like it could be pushed in or up however they had taken most of his items off of him when they had arrested him he only had his clothes a simple woollen tunic a pair of trousers and his belt he slowly stood up and looked around and saw multiple people in different cages and they were all dressed in the same outfit. Unlike him they had on a long orange and black tunic there were two sources of light in the room one in the centre one by the door he looked at the lock and slowly realised something it was a simple latch with a simple 1 lever warded padlock Arthur took of his belt and opened the buckle and pushed it into the key slot and turned it left and felt a solid resistance he then turned it right and heard a click and the lock fell of and the door swung open he laughed and the n turned when he heard a quiet voice "shhhh you'll alert the guards and then you'll be dead," he turned and looked it was a boy who looked fifteen he replied with "why the bloody hell are you in prison," the boy looked down and said "I was one of the most respected nobles sons and I thought I was one of the most powerful people turned out I wasn't see I was friends with the emperors daughter eventually we fell in love and I was found kissing her the emperor was going to kill me see no one believed it was true love but then his daughter begged him not too then I instead was imprisoned and I've been here five years," Arthur looked again and he found though the boy was fifteen he was tall and muscular and was the height even though he was three years before being fully matured he looked like a man you would want on your side in a fight. Arthur walked over to his cage "the emperor's dead by the way but if I free you and try my best to help you meet your girl again will you help me."

"of course, I will do everything in my power to help you become whatever you wish to be and if we fail, we'll fail together however if you just lied about helping me, I will kill you," with that Arthur opened the man's cage.

The boy stood up outside of the metal bars he truly was massive at six foot one and he had an amazing presence you could tell he was once a very powerful noble. With dirty and greasy long blond hair that obviously hadn't been cut in a very long time and he was very pale since he'd been in the dark prison for years however, he was obviously very muscular and Arthur could tell he knew how to use his strength as you could also tell he was experienced in combat because he was ready for a fight as soon as he was out of the cage.
