Chapter 12: Finding the Right Instructor

Chapter 12: Finding the Right Instructor

~Liam POV~

"Argh – Hhhh!"

*Fwoosh*

*Crack*

That's another one that bites the dust.

Testing out my new Esper powers using my Telekinesis and Psyche Barriers has been a good development after a few weeks of training to use them.

I'm at least able to muster up the strength to hold a car around when I began I had a hard time levitating a brick.

Thank god I got my adaption powers before I got these new Psychic abilities.

Shame I can only do this much as I don't seem to have a knack for the others I wanted and even if I did it was all too draining for me to use practically in battle or versatility as well.

However, that was the reason I came back to the HOTD dimension was so that I can train my Esper abilities without worries since Zombies are easy to beat up.

*Bang*

Using a pistol on hand took my time to practice the abilities of my Esper powers in the High School of the Dead dimension as I needed the practice.

The reason being I needed to learn how to take a life and be used or adapt to it.

Sure, enough it helped me get used to the idea of killing off people in the future seeing the blood and guts making me more… used to it I would say?

Especially had some practice with the undead using my Telekinesis to easily rip apart the eyes, heart, spine, and head of the human body.

Of course, I was disgusted but then again no one would use this kind of tactic against a living person just crush them or throw them around to be done with.

But I'll admit it has its perks when in use.

Like maybe say pull a Pain Almighty Push… oh god that's cringe!

But worthy cringe.

Still, though I made sure to switch between offensive and defensive for my Esper powers because they do have a flaw that I have finally achieved getting rid of.

Almost no esper can perform two actions simultaneously, such as raising a defensive barrier and attacking, however, with enough skill and effort, it is possible to do so….

Unless of course, you are the MC and the antagonist of the show that is.

Yeah, I'm talking about the leader of Claw and Mob here in this case….

At least that was the case.

Finally, I broke that rule as I managed to have myself be able to defend and attack at the same time although it took some effort on my part I managed to perfect it at least to be useable for combat or situation.

And I have been getting good with my Telekinesis power or named psychokinesis.

The Esper powers of my Telekinesis already do that job for me charging my psychic energy to my fist thanks to Telekinesis to be able to destroy rocks with ease.

Thank god for the adaptation and evolution I got from the Alien.

As for the skills I originally wanted I managed to obtain the basics of Psychic Barriers and Telekinesis which were good.

The others though… not quite as successful.

As for the skills I originally wanted…

Hasn't been successful on that front I'm afraid no matter what I did I couldn't seem to find the ability or ways how to accomplish those feats and I have only known how to enhance myself using Telekinesis.

However, despite this, I require the skills I originally wanted.

Teleportation.

Flight.

Telepathy.

Technokinesis.

Sad I can't copy the moves as well from the anime.

However, skilled espers are able to learn, copy and perform a multitude of psychic abilities and techniques…

Unfortunately to say I don't fit in that category meaning that I'm not a very skilled Esper but hey I can try to get there one day.

I only just unlocked my power so I can't really say it hasn't been bad at all I just need time to improve as unlocking the other aspects of Telekinesis is still no show at the moment.

The power of telekinesis is the ability to manipulate or otherwise interact with matter or another aspect of a physical system with one's mind or through other non-physical means.

Commonly, its most fundamental trait is to move and control objects (or to generate and apply physical force on a target, or potentially, an area) from a distance and/or without physical contact.

The most common form of telekinesis in fiction is psychokinesis, and the terms are often used interchangeably. However, strictly speaking, Psychokinesis refers to Telekinesis achieved with psionic/psychic power.

Telekinesis can refer to a variety of different means of affecting matter (or energy!) at a range. For example, a magical spell that lets someone move objects at a range is a non-psychic form of Telekinesis.

For a more science-fictional example, gloves or weapons that bend gravity to move objects around could be considered to grant telekinesis.

Any power that allows for the distant movement of something, regardless of how far that distance is or the exact means by which it is accomplished.

Telekinesis is the basis of many superpowers based on "controlling/manipulating" subjects. It may evolve to the point that a telekinetic can control things on a subatomic level.

Extreme cases could see users who can use their telekinesis to move planets or stars.

At the furthest extremes, its influence can expand to affect facets of reality other than matter or energy, such as space and time.

So far, I have nothing good about it even trying Space hasn't been successful at all.

And I'm the guy that can make portals so I have no idea how it's possible, but I can't really say much now since I'm only a beginner in this so it might change in the future.

It just means I'm not that good of an Esper of skills so the next best thing is to ask a professional.

Hence, I'm going to need to ask teachers for me to use their skills for me to be able to use them.

Hopefully, their insights might be of some use as they have more of an expert in this kind of field.

This is all easier than said and done.

But since I'm in need of a teacher though…

However, who would be powerful enough as well as generous enough to assist me in helping me become a proper Esper with some good power and defenses?

Most people wouldn't because they would like to be the guy in charge so who would exactly help me out in this situation though?

Wait…

I got it!

I don't need to return to Mob Psycho to get to learn or harm others to do my bidding.

I'll simply go to the greatest Esper in the anime series….

Saiki Kusuo no Ψ Nan.

I need to meet the main character of the show Kusuo Saiki is the main protagonist of Saiki Kusuo no Ψ Nan and has all kinds of psychic-related abilities.

He usually tries to avoid getting into troublesome situations.

His trademark appearance contains his green-tinted glasses and two pink antennas located slightly above each ear, which have the function of limiting his power.

But his probably the only one who could help me out with my Esper powers and I would make a deal with him.

And quite frankly I think I have a good chance to convince him with the amount of money I have he'll probably agree or not.

That's fine and ok with me as I merely want to ask for help training Teleportation, Flight, Technokinesis, and Telepathy.

Even the basics would just be as good to teach me as I'm struggling a bit to understand them despite being used to Telekinesis.

Despite not having a special power like the other Esper users in Mob Psycho I could make do with Telekinesis since it's really good on its own.

Maybe I can take a few pointers on it from Saiki if he agrees to teach me that is.

Hope for the best I guess.

*Vroom*

Opening up the portal I began to enter inside already having all the essentials in my inventory of my PDA and my magic compass at the ready as I wanted to find Kusuo Saiki opening a portal to that dimension.

*Vroom*

Stepping outside the portal I was now out in the great japan waiting patiently a bit as I see…

The view looks great, but I have greater importance here today!

And that's to get a teacher or mentor!

Shrugging at this I began to take a step around the place following the path down the streets of Japan as I try to find the elusive Saiki trying to sense him out.

I can try to find him using my Esper abilities to search out another one of my own but the thing is though… my range is sadly limited so I would need to take my time finding him the old fashion way.

Now then time for me to find the correct mentor to help me out and I hope the suitcase filled with 1 Billion dollars is enough to persuade him.

Let's hope for the best then.

But what would be the best way to drag him to me though is the question?

How would I go about it?

Now that is a serious question.

Hmm…
