Councilor Aldrin's manor

Aldrin-how was the execution of the plan

Butler-we still have not got any information

Aldrin -I hope Ivan completes the plan , another opportunity like this won't come for a long time

Aldrin began drinking the tea that his butler gave him , he took a sip and placed the cup back in the table and took a deep breath

Suddenly he saw the tea left in the cup began to vibrate

'what the hell ' he thought

Suddenly the entire manor began to shake and the butler came running with a pale face

Butler-Sir, our guards are missing and our barriers have stopped working and the trees and their roots are moving around the mansion

Aldrin- what , communicate and call the council's army tell them a member of the council is calling them tell them to drop every other thing and come here asap.

Aldrin shouted

???- they won't come Aldrin I made sure to warn them not to

Aldrin – who is-

Aldrin froze he knew this voice, he had only heard it a few times but he can never forget it

Then he remembered his butler's warning about the trees and roots

No, he thought why is he here for

Suddenly the part of the room where the windows was got torn out and Aldrin and his butler saw a figure standing on a branch

Aldrin remembered the time when he met him , he remembered this old man always had a smile on his face even if the face was made out of wood, but right now the face had no such emotions at all it remained impassive even frozen

But Aldrin's instincts was screaming at him about the danger that was in front of him. He summoned all the nerves he can find and asked him while shaking

Aldrin- why are you here sir Warrod

Warrod- the kid named Karna do you know him

Aldrin's eyes shook

Aldrin – but sir…..

Warrod-did you have a hand in the attack against him

Aldrin-Sir but(he started shouting)he is a Vermillion sir, you know how dangerous that name is , if he is her descendent he should be nipped in the bud as soon as possible

Warrod just kept staring at him listening to his every word. Then he closed his eyes for a moment and opened them but this time with blazing anger in his eyes

Warrod- you made a big mistake Aldrin, you attacked someone you should not have

Aldrin-but why sir why are you against me if we manage to control him all the powers related to the Vermillion name will be ours

Warrod – you are giving me more reasons to erase you Aldrin

The roots and branches of the trees began to move towards both Aldrin and the butler

Warrod- I will make sure to erase the memories of the butler and try to give him a new life I guess

Aldrin- sir just tell me one reason why you are doing this , at least tell me before killing me

Warrod removed a part of his robe and suddenly a symbol shined slightly shocking Aldrin to the core

Aldrin-no , it can't be …. You are … one of them….

Those were his last words before the tree wine covered him completely forever

Warrod sighed and looked towards the sky

Don't worry Mavis even though I was not able to save you, I will make sure to protect the child that you consider as your own

He then took out a lacrima

Makarov its been done , he said

"thank you master Warrod " a voice came from the other side

Grimoire heart headquarters

A man was inside an infirmary muttering and shouting the same words again and again

There were three people in the room one was a man with a doctor's uniform trying to stop Ivan from injuring himself, another was a man wearing an orange green pants with no shirt with his hair and dark beard pointing at different directions with his eyes looking at Ivan with a small look of pity. The last was an old man with a long beard and eyepatch and his other eye sharp as a blade .

Hades then moved towards the trembling Ivan and cast a magic that put him to sleep, the doctor then began to check up on him

Doctor- Master hades this person can be physically healed within a few days but the damage that has happened to his mind is another matter entirely , this might take years to heal if it can be healed

Hades- hmm, take your time , he may still be useful to us in the future

Hades and Asuma then exited the room so that the doctor can do his work after walking a distance Hades asked Asuma

Hades- did that boy do this to him

Asuma- yes seeing the way he did it send shivers to my spine , I almost thought that I was watching an experienced torturer doing his work , the talent required for this at such a young age is not seen usually

Even the control of his Aura was perfect and the potency of his magic was also tremendous it seemed as if his magic potency surpassed your level master

Hades nodded but a slight curve came at the ends of his lips

Hades- go and make sure that bluenote does not cause any problems

Asuma – yes sir

Hades then reached his room and closed the door , then he sat on his chair thinking about everything he had heard

Hahahahaha

He began laughing

Hahahahahaha, I thought that boy was just an incarnation of magic from Mavis , I only thought that he will only have the magic as his only ability

He then looked straight at an old picture of him with his guildmates

Mavis , if that child is yours he has also got your intellect in a level that may even surpass you

I'm sure you would have been proud

Then Hades shook his head slightly

But if all goes as planned he and I will be in opposite sides of the fight,

He then looked out of the window

"lets see who wins in the end Karna Vermillion"

A/N- hope you like it and sorry for the delay, my exams are near and as I have said before , I am not dropping this book until it is completed so even if there is delay don't lose hope cause I will be back
