Chapter 15 talk no jutsu

That night while everyone went to sleep Gray woke up and as he was tiptoeing outside suddenly a hand came on his shoulder

"where are you going " i asked

Looks like he didn't expect me and almost shouted while turning back

"hey don't scare me like that " he said

"so you were scared " i asked in a taunting manner

" no I'm not " straightforward denial kids these days

"so what are you doing " i don't have the patience right now to fight , growing boy like me needs his sleep

He was silent for a few moments then replied

"i need to kill Deliora " he said slowly and man his eyes look serious

"even i can't beat Deliora alone what do you think you can do"

He clenched his fists hard and bit his lips man kids are hardcore in this world the expression in his eyes looks like Sasuke going to kill Itachi

"Deliora killed my family , i will avenge them" he said while looking at me

Guess its time to pull out a talk-no-jutsu

"do you remember how your parents died " i asked

He nodded and answered

" they died trying to save me "

"then you are the biggest idiot in the world " i bluntly replied

"what do you mean you bastard " he asked angrily

"what do you think you are going to say when you die this young , mom dad i killed myself after you gave your life to save me " i said while looking straight in his eyes it may be a bit harsh but the kid needs tough love

Huh looks like he got nothing to say i guess

"we are going to hunt the demons tomorrow so you can either go now and get yourself killed or stay back and protect Ultear with Lyon so that your teacher can go and kill the demon with a peaceful mind "

He looked down

"well i gotta go sleep goodnight " i said and went back to the room and layed on the bed and closed my eyes .

The next morning i wake up to find out that Gray was still here huh guess my pep talk worked , i sat down to eat and Cana brought me food and sat next to me

"here" she said

"so you worried about going without me " she asked with a smile

"nah i will be alright" i replied while eating

"uhh" she made a noise while pouting huh guess she is cute

Suddenly i feel like Gildarts have a few nerves on his head that are about to blow up and Ur looks like she is holding back laughter.

After breakfast we began to make a plan.

"so" Ur started " if the info we got is correct the two demons in the opposite parts of the town are using a ritual that will almost wipe out every magic devoid human so it is a lot "

"our plan " Gildarts began " is that the two member team will have two objectives , me and Ur will be responsible for distracting the demon s long enough while Cana and Karna will wipe out the ritual sites on both places "

"chances of Zeref cult followers being there is very high but we have not heard of any notable figure nearby so they are most likely grunts " Ur said

"well and Lyon and Gray will take care of Ultear and if any problem arises you should run as fast as possible"

both Grey and Lyon shakes their head

"but i don't want you to leave mum" suddenly Ultear said out loud while crying

Well she only got her mother back yesterday so i guess this should be obvious . Ur picked up ultear in her arms

"Ultear i am sorry that i was not there for you when you needed me the most but right now if we want to live our life we need to stop those demons okay "

After we left the house we began walking towards the eastern side where Deliora was doing the ritual , but the fact that bothers me is that the quest only said about stopping the demons and not about saving Ur i hope it is not a bad omen.

Ur and I walked the whole journey and were talking to each other overall she is a cool woman but at the same time has a scary side as well .we hit it of very well and discussed a lot of things i also got a lot of information about Gildarts that i can use later as well.

Finally we reach the end of the way where i can sense two large amount of powers present from what i can see one of them seems like a cluster of magic power and the other look like a mass of dark energy , guess i don't have to search for them afar.

Ur decides to go towards Deliora and i decide to go towards the cultists .when i reached i found out that the ritual was in a church , makes it easy for me to hide in a high place and shoot.

I climbed the church from the outside and see the ritual going on inside

Oh my god these people are madmen , they have a lot of dead bodies which does not look like they died of natural causes in the center of a magic circle with an old guy standing on the podium giving fanatic speeches

And every idiot looks like that they are agreeing with him and they were laughing about killing more lesser beings or something .

Alright lets kill everyone i guess , i materialize my armor and my bow and takes aim with a dark smoke arrow, its a combination i managed to create with a hollow arrow with darkness and air core

The result is a peculiar darkness that blinds everyone except me quite a nice tool for hunting while giving a surprise .

Well then i notched another arrow

"lets begin the hunt"
