Chapter 8 First mission ( part 1 )

15 October 1981 France.

A man is sitting on a roadside bench and he was wearing a trenchcoat, black hat and a white shirt and black pants, behind him there is a shop called "allez-vous bien" which mean food stop in French and in the front of him was a busy road on which many pedestrians and cars were going and around him many pedestrians could be seen passing by, some of them are in hurry while some of them are just leisurely passing by. Not to far from the sitting man, a person could be seen blowing and rubbing his hand, suddenly a newspaper boy passed by him shouting "journal quotidien" means daily newspapers, the person bought a newspaper and he sat next to the man. While flipping the newspaper the person noticed the man sitting next looked a bit out of the place as if he has some constant worry on his mind, and while looking closely, the person noticed that the man was not native, seeing him in such a state the person asked "Êtes-vous ok"(are you ok?) but he did not receive any answer. finally after thinking for a bit he decided to pat the man to woke him out of his daze..

after agreeing to rookie's offer he was lead to a lab, In a lab there are not many si-fi apparatus as one might imagine. instead, it was a simple looking white color lab with a laying chair in the center and some syringes next to it. Once they are inside the lab rookie told his that it is simple procedure by which, one can strengthen their latent talent. he said that they are given this procedure at a birth. but because myth was not born here so, he has to take it now. he also told him that there is a bit of tracking agent in the serum which is used to track and rescue field operatives when they are in a danger, while they were talking a female doctor in a white coat and a operation mask enters the lab and she started checking all the tools present there and after some checking she said in her melodious voice that everything is ok and we can start the procedure. while talking, Myth and rookie went near the chair, suddenly rookie started looking at myth deeply and then he said " look man to tell you the truth the bureau doesn't trust you at all". Forget about bureau even I don't trust you and the only reason you are getting this job is because our chief insisted on it and I respect him a lot so, I hope you don't betray his trust or I will put you down by myself, while listening all of this myth has a serious expression on his face but, internally he had no idea what the hell is going on here. after all he had just came here. And how the hell is he suppose to know anything. even today if not for his robo he would have lost his way to his dorm. although he does not understand many thing but he know one thing that this job is not a joke and not anyone can just join because they want to, in order to get this job one has to pass several practical and theoretical test and after that one has to face harsh training. only after passing all of this can one join this bureau and here he is, In this bureau without any training what so ever. While thinking all of this he reach the chair, the female doctor asked him to lay on the chair and remove his sleeve and after that she reached for the syringe and filled it with a strange green liquid and then she injected it in his arm. Suddenly myth fell a pat and with a start he woke up from his memory, he looked around and saw a person next to him with concern on his face "Êtes-vous ok"(Are you ok) after listening to this question myth smiled and replied "je vais bien"( I am fine).

The person again asked in French whether he is ok or not, In reply myth told him that he is fine and he is waiting for someone. while talking myth saw a man walking towards them, seeing him myth smiled and said ooh there he is and then he stood up from the bench and walk near the man. this man was none other than rookie and he was here to supervise myth in his first mission.

(Writer monologue: that right folks our story has finally started.

Spoiler alert:- there is a big mystery in his injection event which you guys will know in our upcoming chapters.
