Assassin's Meeting

{Ren POV}

The assassins that the 10 dons had hired had all gathered. Kurapika, Nanika and I were also present. The last ones to arrive were the Zoldycks, Zeno and Silva Zoldyck. The look on their faces when they saw me there was priceless.

"Yo!" I greeted then at which Zeno smiled. "What a small world this is… for us to meet again so soon…" he said. "I really didn't expect to see you at an assassins meeting," said Silva, still surprised. "Nah… I'm just here to help a friend out."

Representatives of the Dons were also present. One of the representatives said, "Your job's to kill the Phantom Troupe. They might come to the auction tonight. Eliminate them if they do… How you do it is up to you. We don't care so long as you do the job. If you need anything, let me know."

Assassin 1- "Get me a floor plan of the building."

Assassin 2- "And a map."

Assassin 1- "Let's pick code names for each other."

Assassin 3- "Colours should do. I'm blue."

Assassin 4- "I want red."

Getting annoyed, Zeno said, "It's Like a game." "Huh? Did you say something? Which colour do you want?" asked Assassin 1. We all just introduced ourselves by our names which confused everyone. "What colours are those?!" asked an Idiot.

Ignoring them, Zeno and Silva were more interested in the girl that introduced herself as Nanika… They were confused as Zeno asked, "Nanika, as in…"

To their question, I just replied "Yes." This greatly shocked the Zoldycks. "H-How?!" asked Silva at which I just shrugged with a smile.

The other's had realized that Silva and Zeno were Zoldycks. They were surprised but what surprised them more was how I seemed so familiar with the legendary Assassins. Assassin 1 came close to me and whispered, "Hey Kid, How do you know them?! No one's supposed to have seen their faces. There is a reward of 200 million for just a picture of one of the Zoldycks."

At that, I just chuckle while scratching my head and say, "Well, you see Silva's Daughter is my girlfriend…" This really surprised him. That was truly insane. Kurapika was also extremely surprised at that as even he didn't know about this.

"If y'all are done gossiping like little gals let's get back to the business and what is a cute little gal like this doing here! Shoo, little girl… Take the other kid and get out." said Assassin 5 arrogantly referring to me and Nanika. This really seemed to piss Nanika off. How dare you speak of Ren- sama in such a way. A soul as disgusting as yours should be thankful to even be in his PRESENCE!" said Nanika slowly reverting back to her original demonic form with blue skin, black eyes and black wings. Her presence alone was enough to make everyone in the room wet their pants. Kurapika, Zeno, Silva were the only humans that didn't literally shit themselves due to their strong will but even they were on their knees.

Before things escalate further, I pull Nanika towards me and say, "Forgive them this once, would you." I said while petting her head. "B-But master, they insulted you," protested Nanika. "Nanika, do you really think that what scum like them say affects me. To me, they are like dogs barking…" I say as I continue to stroke her head. "We-well, If you say so master…" she said in a timid voice infinitely different from the tone she used to speak to the scum. She gave them one last look and turned back to her human form. The Zoldyck and Kurapika were the only other people who managed to stay conscious but seemed extremely drained.

"Well, I guess that is it for the meeting… Everyone will be fine within 20 mins and then we can go after the troupe." I suggest. "Silva looks at me and says, "Agreed…" before collapsing along with Kurapika. "See you soon," I say while waving to Zeno, the only one left conscious as he weakly returns the farewell by waving his hand…"

While Carrying Kurapika on my shoulder, we return to the hotel. While going towards Dalzollene's room to inform him of the situation, "Nanika, you went a bit overboard over there…" I say while lightly knocking her head. "Well, they insulted Ren-sama… Nanika absolutely cannot let that go!" she said determinedly. "I don't care about them but you also affected Kurapika… Nanika, I'm really happy that you are looking out for me, but try to maintain control, okay?" I say in a gentle voice. She just looks at me and says "Yes!" with a bright smile.

As we entered Neon's room, one can see Dalzollene frantically pacing around the room… Looking at us, a wave of relief washed over him as he said, "Thank God you are here! Lady Neone's missing!!!"
