Changes

As Pangu lifted the axe, suddenly a green, jade-like lotus materialized in his hands, radiating a pure green aura, Pangu made a gesture, and soon the lotus in his merged with the axe.

Pangu was also accumulating injuries while doing all of that but he shrugged them off with nonchalance, treating them as if they were mere mosquito bites

After merging the lotus with his axe, Pangu used all of his strength and swung his axe. The force of his blow seemed to shake the very foundations of Chaos and the whole chaos was split open leaving only a white space, while he was doing all that someone delivered a lethal blow, gravely injuring him. Despite the severity of his wounds, Pangu declared, "I'm creating this world to prove my way, I'll not die, I will be reborn in the future, that is when my way will be complete,"

Right after uttering those words, Pangu passed away. His breath transformed into the wind, mist, and clouds; his voice became thunder; his left eye became the Sun, while his right eye became the Moon. His head formed the mountains and the most distant reaches of the world, while his blood became the rivers and his muscles turned into fertile land. His facial hair became the stars, his fur transformed into bushes and forests, and his bones became valuable minerals. His bone marrow became precious jewels, his sweat became rain, and even the fleas on his fur, carried by the wind, transformed into various animals.1

Right after seeing all that happen, Feng Lou awakened to find himself still seated in his room, with Zhurong's hands resting on his back. To him, it felt like millions of years had passed but not even a second had passed in the real world.

Suddenly, Zhurong spoke, "It appears I was not mistaken. You indeed have a connection with my father, Pangu. Did you witness the memories of the creation of the world?"

Feng Lou, still a little shocked by the memories, replied, "Yes, I did."

Hearing Feng Lou's confirmation, Zhurong smiled with satisfaction. "Excellent," he remarked. "It seems that this human race, created by Sister Nuwa, is destined with the Witch Race."

With great joy, Zhurong exclaimed, "Allow me to bestow upon you another gift!" Suddenly, his throat swelled, and he proclaimed in a booming voice, "I, Zhurong, by the authority of the twelve witches, declare that the human race is under the protection of the Witch Race. Anyone who dares to harm the human race will be considered an enemy of the Witch Race!" His proclamation echoed throughout the entire prehistoric world, reaching the ears of all who resided within it.

...

Nuwa Palace

The palace, bathed in a serene blueish-white light, exuded an ethereal aura. Within its walls, a grand hall stretched out, its expanse almost boundless. At the heart of this hall, seated upon a majestic throne, was a female figure, beside her was a blue-colored bird. She emanated a presence that seemed to encompass the entirety of the universe itself. It was the Goddess Nuwa.

Upon hearing the voice, she was taken aback for a moment. "It seems the Witch Race wants to sabotage my relationship with the Monster Race," she remarked, a faint chuckle escaping her lips. "They truly don't want the Monster Race to have a saint."

"It appears that my human race is becoming a chess piece," Nuwa commented with a mischievous smile. "Well, it doesn't bother me. As long as they remain alive, the Way of Heaven won't take the merits, and I'll retain my status as a saint of heaven."

Right after her statement, Nuwa closed her eyes and issued a command, "Lan Fenghuang, inform the Monster Race emperors that I shall meet with them in a few days. Furthermore, convey to them that I will never betray the Monster Race."

....

Feng Lou and the group inside were taken aback by Zhurong's sudden declaration. However, with his quick thinking, Fenglou understood Zhurong's intentions—to sow discord between the Monster Race and Saint Nuwa using the human race.

At that moment, Feng Lou felt the urge to speak up, to say, "This isn't a gift but more like a curse." However, he remained silent, held back by the fear that if he voiced his thoughts, Zhurong would just kill him.

"I should take my leave now," Zhurong said right after the declaration. With those words, he vanished from sight, as if the injuries he had sustained moments earlier had never occurred.

As Zhurong vanished, Feng Lou was overcome by a chilling thought: Could this have all been a scheme created by the Witch Race? He couldn't shake the notion that Zhurong's injuries were genuine, but what if he had inflicted them upon himself instead of Kunpeng? What if his appearance here was merely a plot to sow discord between the Monster Race and Saint Nuwa?

Feng Lou felt a sense of unease at the possibility of the human race being manipulated by the Witch Race like just a toy. The human race right now didn't have much control over their own destiny and was being controlled by others. This thought bothered Feng Lou a lot. he wanted to change it, only way Feng Lou saw to change this situation was by traveling to other worlds and becoming stronger.

Feng Lou quickly asked Chaos Bell, "Can I travel to another world today?"

Chaos Bell responded, "Yes, you can. However, there have been some changes to the travel process. It won't be the same as before."

Feng Lou questioned, "What kind of changes?"

"This time it won't be like before," Chaos Bell explained. "You won't be able to bring your physical body with you. This time it will only be soul travel,"

"then what can I even do in that world that can increase my cultivation base," Feng Lou said bitterly, Feng Lou lamented. "Without my physical body, I won't even have an advantage there."

"You don't have to worry about getting stronger through conventional means anymore," Chaos Bell reassured Feng Lou. "Instead, I will give you talents categorized into different tiers: green, blue, orange, red, and purple. You will utilize these talents to enhance your strength in the other world. Moreover, If you complete the missions that way of heaven of that world will give you, you might be able to get some law fragments which will increase your strength a lot,"

Feng Lou was speechless, but he trusted Chaos Bell. He knew that the Chaos Bell would only do things in his best interest.
