Dog Fight and Travel Fragments

Walking through a pitch black forest with no footing is hard enough, but when your new girlfriend forces you to finger her the whole time, it's even harder. Not as hard as me though.

The only saving grace is the free stat points from the system. While walking, I decided to split the system into parts. Status, Sex, and Worlds. The system reflected these changes, once again adapting to what I think.

The status shows my stats and available skills, as well as quests and general information. The Sex shows my Lust bar and Harem list, and important sex based skills. Worlds shows information about the world I am in. It shows anything I have learned about a world, so I don't forget anything.

I have received a few quests for killing a certain number of monsters and increasing my stats. Since I already have 10 Travel Fragments, and all my worth while skills are already CW, I go with the Fragments.

Turns out, the amount gained is random, from 1 to 3 from what I know. With not much else to do, me and Fein are either walking or fucking, so my stats go up well for the quests.

We walk for a few hours before finding a new monster. It is a wolf with light grey skin and large eyes. It's head reaches up to my rib cage, and it's ears are the size of my hand.

It probably has very good hearing and sight, but with the larger size, it won't be able to turn easily, or move between the trees fast enough if we try to run. Looking over to Fein, I see a plan forming in her head, her eyes darting around.

She points to me, my spear, a throwing motion, it's head. Herself, a group of trees, throwing again, and then running in two directions. She crouches down further and makes a plus symbol with her fingers, telling me to boost her. I cast AGI boost lv 8, STR boost lv 9, and HP boost lv 5 on both of us.

She creeps over to the trees, careful not to make a sound. When she reaches it, she waves down her hand, signaling me to start. I step back and get into position, and let it fly.

The spear hit the wolf head on, barely dodging enough not to get hit in the eye. It looks over to me and howls, it's head up and eyes closed. When it open its eyes again, the first thing it sees is another spear coming from the other direction.

It can't react in time and gets hit, blinded in it's left eye. Seeing that it worked, we don't run away, instead grabbing our knives and charging it. I head for it's right, while Fein charges for it's blind side. It tries to swipe at me, but with my higher AGI, I dodge back, cutting across the top of the paw.

Fein runs up and stabs through it's back left paw, wrenching a pained howl from it. Even though these look like the wolves from Earth, they are not social creatures, living in at most groups of three, male, female, and child.

Trying to find what attacked it, the wolf spins around, biting down on air. I stab it through the right knee, guaranteeing that it can't run away. Much slower than before, it turns around again, and missing again. I run to it's good eyes and lodge the knife in, and back off when it starts thrashing around. We regroup by the tree we originally were behind, and wait for it to either stop biting or bleed out. After a few more minutes, it drops dead.

"I keep underestimating those boosts." She looks over to me, annoyed, impressed, and questioning looks inside her eyes.

"The more I use them, the stronger they get" She takes my reason and drops it, not asking further. As I was thinking, before the wolf, my growth rate has been extremely high, and after only two day I got 50 Travel Fragments.

The Crystal is likely what I was looking for, but the other two are very interesting. Otherworld Knowledge might be about ways to get stronger, or unheard of weapons. The Memory Piece is probably from my missing memory.

I choose the Crystal, and a small bead appears in my hand. Even without being told, I know it is consumable, so only one person can use it. I call out to Fein and start asking her some ' Theoretical ' questions.

"If you could leave at anytime, and visit different worlds, would you?"

She looks at me like I went crazy. To be honest, it does sound crazy. Her response is almost immediate though, "Of course, who wouldn't?"

I sigh in relief, and hand her the crystal. I try to tell her about the room again, but I still can't. She looks at the small bead, confused, and seems to try to absorb it, like the stat crystals.

"You need to eat it" I tell her. She looks at me like I'm crazy, again. "This thing would break my teeth! I don't have any water on me."

I takes the crystal from her and put it in my mouth. I kiss her, deeply, and let my spit flow into her mouth. She swallows it greedily, before we both suddenly wake up in the room.
