Tian Danyue's eyes followed his hand and looked away when she saw his little finger which was attached back.
She said very carefully as though she was trying to console him, "They should be here soon…"
Huang He did not lift his head. "You didn't sound confident either."
Tian Danyue stayed quiet.
When Huang He arrived in Jin City, he contacted An Ying.
In the beginning, An Ying had instructed him to go to a warehouse in the suburbs to get the goods. He even sent him the address. In the end, while they were halfway there, An Ying changed his mind and told them not to go there anymore. He got them to come to this cement factory instead.
Around the cement factory, the smell of concrete and dust filled the air.
The smell was so strong and pungent that they could already smell it the moment they entered the surrounding of the cement factory.
