The Cafe

After attending miss Sameera's class, I was all exhausted and tired. I stood up from my seat and went straight towards the cafe. All tired and sleepy, I almost fell on the bench. "What are you doing here?", Leo asked". Dancing?", I replied angrily. He looked at me all confused. "What can you expect from me to do here?". We were still in questioning mode, asking questions with each reply. "I guess you are hungry. Let's go eat something" he said. I nodded my head and we went to the canteen. Like always, I ordered myself a samosa, roll and a coke. I came back to bench with my lunch and started eating while Leo sat there looking at me with his dark black colored eyes filled with love.

Leo is a surgeon and my classmate. This dark skin toned boy with normal height and black eyes, is so in love with me since the first day I entered the class. Anyhow, I never thought about him in that sense and always consider him as my good friend. "When is the next class?" I asked. He was still staring at me with those scary black eyes like a cat. "Excuse me mister? , Can you please stop looking at my face and answer?". He became serious in an instant. "I don't know." He replied. Eh, this boy is totally useless. He never knows about anything and he's never helpful. All he can do is to sit back and stare like he's gonna eat me.

Ugh! I wanted peace. This damn boy keeps following me. I started looking towards the carrom players to divert my mind. Sola's cafe is always filled with different sort of people and things. There is a badminton court in the center, blue coloured old fashioned benches on the corners, a carrom board placed on the very right corner of cafe and a arcade game right beside the carrom board. I can always see my class CR Adrian in badminton court either playing or cheering with couple of MBBS seniors. Many different type of people, patients or care takers always sitting in groups and enjoying their food. Then, finally, the carrom board, always filled with handsome boys from BDS.

I stood up, annoyed by his eyes, went directly to common room. This is the only place where he can't follow me. I sat on sofa and started chilling. Life is miserable sometimes. It is very hard to deal with people. Smiling always isn't my type. I work according to my mood. All of a sudden, I felt a hand on my shoulder. "What are you doing here? Are you okay? Are you sick? Do you need any help?". Amara stood there Quizzing. Many questions in a row, what else can you expect from this energetic dummy. I wonder how she is always so energetic, shouting and cheering. With her shrill voice, she seemed more irritating than ever or maybe, it is my mood that is off.

Anyways, it was almost time and no chance I was going to get late for anatomy class. "Let's go Amara" and we both left.

This is just the beginning of a very romantic and classy novel.
