Problem in the family

Part 33.

Oh-yes, just remembered that tomorrow there is a schedule to go to campus, to see the graduation schedule for the first batch of this year. I reached for my cell phone in my bag and looked for Miss Catherine's number.

["Hello, good evening, Miss,"] I greeted.

["Good evening, Clara, what's the call this evening?"]

["I ask permission, because tomorrow I will be late for work! Because I have business to go to campus, Miss!"] I explained.

["Okay, what time do you arrive at the office?"]

["Maybe ten o'clock, I'll be at the office!"] I said.

["All right, Clara, after college, come to the office, okay!"] she remembered.

"Okay, Miss!" After saying hello, I ended the call on the phone.

We have arrived at the office police in the market center area. It's the first time I set foot here, I feel scared mixed with confusion. But I am grateful that I am not alone but come with Mama and Sis Sarah.

I just realized, it turns out that Sis Sarah's stomach is getting bigger. At home, I rarely pay attention to it. So sorry to see this my brother-in-law. Since the beginning of their marriage they are always given trials by God. May Allah give strength to my two brothers.

"Hey, Clara! Why are you daydreaming, come on in!" Sis Sarah broke my daydream.

"I'm his wife and this is his family!" replied Sis Sarah while pointing at me and Mama.

"Wait here, will you!" said the police. He went inside to give a report.

"Roy and his two friends who were just arrested this afternoon, huh?" asked the policeman on duty near me.

"Yes, sir," I said.

"One person was taken to the hospital because he was injured!" he explained.

"Hah, what are the characteristics of the person, sir?" Mom asked surprised.

The police mentioned the characteristics that resembled Bro Roy, when we heard it, we immediately went limp. Moreover, Sis Sarah, her breath was immediately short of breath. Thank God the police immediately gave him a glass of mineral water on the table.

"Patience, Sis! Just pray that Bro Roy is in good condition," I said comforting him.

Mama could only be silent, did not say anything. Maybe he is starting to be strong in dealing with all the problems of life that come and go in our family.

"Roy's family, please come in!" call the fat police.

Hearing the call, we immediately stood up and entered the waiting room. Soon Bro Roy came out accompanied by the police on duty. There was a romantic scene, which made this heart sad. Sis Sarah wept in her husband's arms. Mom and I tried to calm him down.

"Sis, remember the fetus is in the stomach, it will contract later!" remember me.

"Patience Sarah, let's sit down first!" invite Mama while holding Sis Sarah's hand.

I saw that Bro Roy's forehead and hands were wrapped in bandages. He winced as his wife hugged him.

Brother Roy is allowed to go home. But tomorrow have to come again to meet two friends and his family.

Alhamdulillah, one problem has been solved. I saw the faces of Mama and Sis Sarah were no longer sad. I dared to ask Bro Roy about the debt.

"How much do you owe Brother, until they bring it sharp weapon to threaten?"

Bro Roy mentioned the nominal amount of the debt, we who heard it were immediately surprised. All of that behavior is crazy gambling before marriage.

After ordering food, while waiting I opened the screen of the cellphone. Some incoming messages in the app are green. It turns out that there is no need to come to campus, because the graduation schedule has been distributed through the campus group.

That means tomorrow morning, the schedule is to report to the police station only, to find a peaceful way with two of Bro Roy's friends. Sadness mixed with happiness when I saw Mama and my sister eating voraciously.

They are my only family, whatever happens must be my responsibility too. Even though Brother Roy and Kak Sarah's marriage was started by being married by accident, they still love each other.

There was an incoming notification, when I saw it, it was Calvin who sent the message. He reported if the results of the police investigation began to find a bright spot. I immediately replied to his message with a smile to myself.

This morning I did not go to campus, because the graduation schedule has been shared with the group, my class is the first batch of this year. But it's incomplete if you don't meet comrades in arms on campus. Moreover, there is only one more step, we will be separated.

Today's rehearsal is being done to prepare for next week's graduation. After finishing my business at the police station, I will stop by the campus first, then go to the office.
