Revan’s Advice
Along the way to the place where he and Revan met, Charles seemed very excited to meet Revan because he couldn't wait to hear Revan's advice, which, according to him, really inspired him. He could even say what he did in cheating or betraying George. Much of it was inspired by Revan's little advice that he ate raw.
"I have to tell Revan of this plan that I have planned. I'm sure Revan will agree to it because my idea is very brilliant," Charles proud to himself inwardly.
Really he was pleased just because he met his best friend.
Charles's way of thinking was not widespread. His mindset, putting his uncle's feelings aside, he felt he had succeeded in making his uncle come to his knees, not even that, but George's co-workers could bend to his knees, without ever arguing what he said.
So it is only natural for Charles to appear confident and feel that what he has done is working, right?
