Mr President’s Substitute Wife

When Sophia Anderson flees her own wedding, her sister Willow is unexpectedly thrust into the role of her substitute bride, turning Willow’s already tumultuous life into a waking nightmare. Three years later, Sophia reemerges, supported by the family, to reclaim her position as Alejandro’s wife, leaving Willow cast aside and forgotten. “What about the night we shared? Didn’t it mean anything to you?” Willow asked, her voice shaky, terrified of his response and yet knew his response will finalize it all. Alejandro scoffed, eyebrows raised like he couldn’t believe his ears. "The night we shared was utterly insignificant, Willow. It meant nothing to me. Don't delude yourself into thinking it held any importance.” He spat out without hesitation. Alejandro looks at her dead in the eye, "Sign the divorce papers, Willow and leave. I don’t ever want to see your face around here anymore.”

Chapter 9

Mr. President's Substitute Wife

Willow blinked back tears, stood up, and took a deep breath. "You can't do this to me. You are taking my life away with this. Sophia wanted him, he loves her so dearly, so why won't she come back? He is her husband, and you want me to keep up this act like a placeholder for her. Mother!" Willow yelled, unable to keep her voice at bay. Her body shook uncontrollably from the emotions that threatened to overwhelm her.

Jasmine raised her eyebrows, scowled, and stood up, a chuckle escaping her lips. "Did you just yell at me?" She asked, pointing her fingers towards herself.

Willow swallowed hard, a tear fell to her cheek. "Mother.." she whispered, caving into herself like a coward.

"Please, don't make me do this." She said again, images from the two nights before gripped her mind. She didn't want to go through it for a third time tonight. She was tired.
