Amelia stared at her father in shock; she didn't want to believe what he had said. She didn't want to think he was caring a bit for her sister.
"What is that supposed to mean?" she asks.
Mr. Roman leaned back in his seat with his eyes on her before answering, "I think you know what I'm talking about Amelia, you should forget about him. He's not the one for you, and we both know that if he was to be your husband or your boyfriend, he could have picked you the day he came to the house." he told her with his eyes shining with love for her.
Amelia's face darkened with anger. Even while sitting in front of her father, she still didn't want to believe that was supporting her sister instead of her.
