The Morning After

Many hours later, Genevieve stirred in her sleep, the blinding sunlight shining on her face. She groaned and rolled over, burying her face in the plush pillows. She snuggled into the pillows until she suddenly remembered that the pillows felt and smelt different from the ones in her bedroom. She slowly peeled her eyes open and groaned at the sudden ache in her head.

I need water and possibly a new brain, She thought.

She forced her eyes open and blinked at the unfamiliar room she was in. She stared at the ceiling and found a reflection of herself staring back at her naked and wrapped in the sheets.

Where on earth was she? She thought.

Quickly she sat up on the bed and when she took in her surroundings she still couldn't recollect what happened the night before. Everything was blank…her head was blank.
