Genevieve woke up the next morning feeling slightly out of place and tired; her head was throbbing hard, like a little being was beating the drum in her head. She was tired, weak, and needed more sleep, but she knew she had to get up because she was hungry. She slowly sat up on the bed and looked around at her surroundings, and just as she thought she was still in the room, she didn't leave, nor did he sleep in his room either. She had thought it was a dream when he suggested sleeping in the guest room; she had thought he was joking and couldn't do it. He didn't sleep just as promised, but the words he said last night bugged her.
