" Why are you coming home by this time of the night?" Mr Valdez asked Valeria who just walked in. " And since when did you start caring about my whereabouts?" Valeria asked in return, looking less bothered about what her father was talking about. "

" I can see you're growing bolder by the day!!" Mr Valdez reprimanded. " Chillax old man , we don't want your BP skyrocketing " , Valeria said lazily. She didn't want to stand here and listen to this father of hers preach the same sermon he has been preaching for ages.

" Goodnight night dad, don't stay up too long, it's not good for your health. And take care ", Valeria left those words behind and took the stairs to her bedroom, leaving a fuming Mr Valdez. " That brat, I have to deal with her!! She's getting bolder by the day!!", Mr Valdez said.

" You should give her some more time, she'll come around. You know the teenage hormones are just acting up ", Cordelia said pretentiously, coming out of the kitchen. She has been there since Valeria entered , waiting for Samson ( Mr Valdez) to reprimand her on how she disgraced her at the company.

" She didn't even give me time to discuss with her on her behaviour today, I'll surely deal with her tomorrow. That, I promise you love", Samson said the last part to Cordelia who was fuming but decided to cover it up with her fake smile.

" I know that darling, come on, take your bedtime tea and get some rest". " Isn't that sweet of you?" , Mr Valdez said and gulped down the tea, not knowing the sudden smirk that crept on Cordelia's face.

Stuart stood before his mirror, checking out his outfit. He had dinner with a business partner at his house. He didn't like going for meetings at a partner's house but he decided to honour him today. " Boss, the car is ready" Damien said walking in. He was also in a black suit. " Let's go", Stuart said and headed out, Damien followed behind. They entered the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50, one of Stuart's cars.

Stuart got to the backseat while Damien entered the front seat beside the driver. The driver didn't waste much time and spend off to their destination. In no time, they arrived at Mr Greg's mansion . Damien stepped down from the car and opened the door for Stuart who stepped down in style.

" It's so nice having you here Mr Robinson" Mr Greg said as he met Stuart at the door to welcome him. " Mmm" , Stuart hummed. Mr Greg didn't take it to heart as he knew who he was dealing with.

Everyone in the business world knew of how less of a talk person Stuart is. He doesn't talk unless it's necessary. Mr Greg of all people knows not to get offended by his behaviour. He needed this deal so badly. If he cracks this deal with Stuart, winning the next election as the governor will be a piece of cake since Stuart has so much influence.

Not only that, his power in the underworld will increase with so much speed, he can take on orders with less problems. At this point, humility will be the best choice. " This way Mr Robinson, dinner has been set already and I'm sure you'll love it. I had the best chef in the city to make it" . Mr Greg said, trying his best to impress Stuart, only if he knew that this man before him is not easily pleased , he'll stop trying.

Stuart only nodded. They sat at the table and enjoy dinner while Mr Greg talked about business. Stuart as usual, talked only when it's necessary for him to. The dinner went smoothly. Mr Greg couldn't be more happier than he was now, considering the fact that he has stayed to this point is quite a progress.

" Thank you so much for your time Mr Robinson, and I hope you consider my offer", Mr Greg said bringing out a file which he handed to Stuart. " I'll let my assistant get back to you. ", Stuart said handling the file to Damien who was walking behind the two men silently. " I'll be waiting the". Mr Greg said as he stood Infront of his door with Greg beside him.

"Sure", Stuart said . Just then, Mr Greg began choking, blood was dripping from his mouth. He dropped dead on the floor instantly. Stuart who said this took out his gun immediately, and so did Damien and the guards surrounding Mr Greg's mansion. Stuart being so vigilant, looked at the angle the bullet was coming from, his eyes immediately met with the assassin's, but it didn't take up to a minute because the person vanished the next minute.

Stuart was so lost in thought that he had forgotten to check on Mr Greg who was now laying in his pool of blood. " Boss, are you okay?" Damien's question brought him out of his thought. " I am, let's rush him to the hospital quickly", Stuart said, referring to Mr Greg. " There'll be no need for that boss, he passed out on the spot, although I've contacted the police and ambulance, they should be here any moment from now" Damien replied.

Stuart moved closer to the body and squatted beside it to inspect where the bullet was shot through. After he was done, he stood up . " Is something wrong boss? " Damien asked looking at the look on his boss's face. " No, it's fine. " , Stuart answered. Just then, the cops arrived, they took Stuart's statement. They knew more than to invite him to the police station. Everyone knows he doesn't have time for such issues.

Stuart sat in his bathtub reminiscing about all that transpired in Greg's mansion. He could swear that he has seen those pair of eyes before. The assassin's eyes looked too familiar. And the bullet, the bullet penetrated right through his heart, the person's aim was to truly stop Greg's heart from ever beating again.

And the job was clean, Stuart knows for a fact that if he hadn't been this smart, he wouldn't have seen the assassin before he left. There's only one person who's assassination signature is the heart. And there's only one person who can carry out a clean task like this. Only one person. 'Poison' . But how could that be? He hasn't been in the circle for about two years. Stuart thought.

Poison is the world's no.1 assassin. This anonymous person has been ranking one since 5 years ago. Anonymous because no one has ever laid eyes on him. He has never personally been to any meetings in the underworld although his clan ranks high in the underworld business. He kills without mercy, he's also known for his heart signature. He mostly hits the heart. It's rumoured that he never fires his gun twice, he doesn't like to waste his precious bullet on a single human. According to rumors, he has never shot anyone twice, his tasks are always clean.

And for this fact, even after not being in the business for the past two years, he still ranks no.1

Stuart was thinking about this. His biggest competitor is here. Stuart is a mafia lord and an assassin. He's highly respected in the mafia world since no one has been able to surpass him, although some people say it's because Poison hasn't been in the mafia world. He ranks second in the assassination circle which he hates very much. Not like he isn't good, but Poison always surpasses him. He can't help but to testify to the fact that Poison is worth his name.

He has only been hearing rumours, but today, he witnessed his handiwork. His hate for him is subsiding a little. He now wants to meet him. It's high time they faced each other anyway. He knows it won't be easy finding him since he's a top hacker, but he's not a bad hacker either, he'll find him. With this thought in mind, he got out of the bathtub, dried himself and layed in bed. He didn't try sleeping since he knows it'll not work. He can only sleep when it's in the morning.

" Why did you bring me here? " Valeria asked Lena who was clinging to her as if she was the daily bread they talked about in the bible. " Sometimes I wonder how we became besties", Lena said with a scoff. " Hmm, this is not the first time you've asked that question, and you know you never get answers to that. And for your information, you won't get missing if you don't hold me", valeria said, trying to take of Lena's hand .

But this tic of a friend won't let go. " I swear I'll break your hands if you don't let go this instant", learner said in a cold tone. " Hahahaha, you know that won't work on me right?" , Lena asked with a laugh. Valeria sighed, she should have known that this friend of her's is the only one who doesn't take her words to heart.

"Let's go get some clothes. We should buy you more fashionable ones like this since you've changed from your baggy pants to these sexy outfits", Lena said referring to Valeria's sexy clothes she was putting on. "Hmm", Valeria only nodded. "Yay Yay!!! Let's go", Lena said excitedly.

< Three hours later >

" Oh my god!! Never knew shopping could be this exhausting!!", Lena complained as they came out of the female dress section in the mall, they visited almost all the female outfit shops. Shopping from lingeries to dresses, heels and so many. They couldn't believe they had shopped that much until their shopping bags filled the entire store.

Lena had to call the guards they left downstairs to come for the bags and send them home for them. " Let's grab some ice-cream at the stand over there. It'll help replenish the energy we lost so we can shop more", Lena suggested excitedly. " Shop for more? You must be kidding me, if you're not tired, I am and wait, do you want your company to go bankrupt?" , Valeria asked her friend who never disappoint her with her silly actions.

" How can I go bankrupt?" , I own the leading agency remember? And why are you even worried about me going bankrupt? We still have your money to use remember. Thinking of it, You're richer than me and my dad combined .", Lena said excitedly.

" You must be dreaming cause I won't spend a dime on you!!", Valeria said , walking towards the ice cream and leaving lena behind. " Is she serious? She can't be!! Hey wait, you're not serious are you!!", Lena yelled after Valeria. " Can you stop yelling? We're in a public place!!", valeria hissed at her friend's senseless nature.

."oops!!", that's the only thing Lena could say.

They got their ice-creams and sat on a bench nearby to enjoy their ice-cream. " Hey pretties" , they turn to their sides when they heard someone call them. " Oh my God!!!" , Lena screamed immediately, while valeria stared with a blank expression.
