meeting sooner than later

Nights turn into days and days turn into mornings as the evenings turn into nights. The people from Twin horns party kill monsters along the way as we went on the trip to Xyrus city. Mori trains in his sleep by gathering Mana from nature and will soon break through.

…night camp

Currently, Mori is snoozing peacefully in a hammock, with everyone else sitting around the bonfire.

"How are you holding up, Arthur? Tired?"

Arthur just nodded without saying anything. He turned looking at Mori hanging between two tree branches, feeling envious.

"Don't worry about it. It's your first time traveling like this."

"I guess..?" as Art just sat there wishing he could sleep anywhere like Mori does, but alas.…He got into a 'stretching' session with Adam.

Mori woke up when he sensed the fight and followed them secretly watching. As Art twisted around on the ground with his insane movement technique, he was astonished.

*I wonder if I could mimic that.* and returned back to his hammock and slept till morning.

…several days

Mori was at a cliff ready to jump in with the others while Art sat with Alice being embarrassed.

During the journey both Art and Mori birthday were celebrated.

Art got a small knife from Jasmine and Mori got a spear from Adam both got some teaching lesson from each regarding sword fight and spearmanship, but Art was more in for the dagger training and stuck to it while Mori did the same with spear while also being interest in how different Jasmine technique is from Mira except the difference of Sword and dagger.

Everyone enjoyed themselves, Adam, Rey and Durden were having fun like teenangers from campus life except their older ones now.

…back to the wagon

Art and Mori sat beside each other and listened to Adam talking about their dad.

"I still remember your father getting into all sortsorts of trouble." He said smuggedsmudge.

Helen interrupted him, giving him the same smug face he did a second ago. "Pretty sure Rey wasn't the only one who caused trouble…

Adam interrupted, looking awfully nervous. "--Oh no! What was that?! Never mind just a little rodent. Haha!" trying to change the topic.

While Mori chuckled, Art was sternly looking at his mother, noticing a little bit off. "You okay, mom?"

Alice did not want him to worry. "Just a little tired, Honey. I'll be okay."

Arthur tried to go back reading to put his mind elsewhere…

few seconds…

Jasmine stared at him from the little rectangle room of the wagon and gave him the eyes that wanted him to teach her more. (sounds a little bit dirty…)

He tried ignoring her but reading in this atmosphere and this shaky ride was just not favorable.

!Suddenly!

He felt a big shake and felt alarmed. Alice shouted out loud with fear and worry. "What's going on?!"

words escaped from Helen's mouth. "BANDITS! Prepare to engage!"

´¤Submit, O'wind and follow my will. Gather and protect!¤´ fury of arrows met a furious whirlwind, repelling the massive amount of arrows.

Arthur was angered by the Bandit leader's words.

Mori looked at Art, his face expressing disgust and anger. He could hear him mumble. "Damaged…Goods…"

Mori was always meeting filth like them, some he might wish changed, but there are always some who are better off dead.

Durden cast a stone wall for the incoming arrows and the rest tried their best to protect the wagon.

Everyone went full on war, the bandit numbers decreased as well the stamina of the Twins horns party. Rey charged ahead and with two people in headlocks he didn't notice someone who almost swung at him till Helen sniped him, while Rey gave her a nervous look.

Angela protected Art, Mori and Alice from the arrows that slipped past Durden wall.

Jasmine skillfully slashed and stabs, felling the bandit to the ground dead.

"Stop struggling, Baby! I'll make sure to train you so well, you will be begging to stay with me in the end~" He tried flirting with Jasmine while whipping his whip.

Jasmine skillfully dodge the whips, but couldn't evade everything getting cut from her cheeks and her wrist.

While Art looked like he was in his own world suddenly Rey crashed into the wagon.

"--!Honey!!!"

"Mom, you have to heal dad! hurry!"

Arthur again looked at his mother, his intuition told him there was something wrong.

Mori still didn't know the level in this world and he may hold off the Bandit leader, but his body can't withhold his powers and don't know if his martial arts can do much when his strength is not on par with Rey even if he has done a crazy amount of training.

"I'm fine…honey. My injuries aren't life…threatening…don't worry and do your best." Rey said, holding her chin giving a smile while Alice sobs.

"Art, Mori. Listen carefully. After your mother uses her healing spell, those bad men are going after her. I'll be able to fend off the leader, but not if I have to worry about protecting you two. Take your mother back down the trail we came from and don't stop."

"What are you talking about, dad?! I'm not leaving you! I can fight! you saw me!"

Arthur was so insistent on fighting it brought Mori seeing himself. Fighting to protect his friends and everyone else.

Mori closed his eyes…

Mori was back in the half-white room. sitting on a chair was a boy nearly in his 20s. "oh? back already?"

"I need your help."

"I don't know, maybe not yet."

"Please, you promised…promise you would help when I need it and since I still lack strength."

"ha…fine, guess we meet sooner." He closed the book and walked to Mori patting hi spiky hair. "I'm…"

"I know you can fight. That's why I'm entrusting your mother to you, protect her…and…the baby inside her."

Mori and Art widen their eyes.
