Olivia Huntington

As the girl groaned and woke up on my bed, she clutched her head, clearly suffering from a pounding headache.

Earlier, using my energy, I managed to rid her of the poison that was coursing through her veins, threatening to corrode her very being.

Afterwards, I took her to my hotel room and since am a humble guy, I dropped off the boy at a nearby medical facility out of sheer mercy.

"Morning." I greeted her casually as I stood before her, leaning nonchalantly against the pillar in the drawing room,

Alert and wary of her surroundings, the girl sprang into a defensive stance on the bed, trying to search her clothes for something.

"Looking for these?", With a smirk, I held up the black rectangular strips of paper with something drawn on them, catching her attention.

"Who are you?" she demanded, attempting to muster up her energy but to no avail.

"Ah… that's a good question," I mused, pondering for a few moments before responding.

"Please, do calm down. If my intentions were ill, I would have subjected you to an excruciating ordeal while you were in a state of unconsciousness," I stated, holding an upright posture and taking a step forward with my hands held out in an effort to mollify her.

"Just tell me who you are!" she demanded, launching herself at me once more.

I effortlessly sidestepped her physical assault, choosing not to retaliate.

"River Hart is my name. I am a fellow denizen of this locale and was present during the…the incident," I disclosed.

"You saw that—" she stammered.

"That creature, the wolf-like monstrosity with three heads, yes," I interjected.

"Are you a 'Walker'?" she inquired.

"I beg your pardon?" I queried, ignorant of the term.

"Then how did you observe the beast if you're not a Walker?" she asked, sporting an expression of bewilderment.

"I don't have any idea what you're pondering about!", I declared.

"You're just an ordinary individual, I cannot even detect any Qi emanating from you," she stated.

"Okay, what exactly is Qi?", I asked, perplexed. I had never heard of walkers, demons, or Qi in my general knowledge or in movies, except for the computer-generated monsters made via CGI.

Surprisingly, upon learning that I was just a normal person, she seemed to gain confidence. Though she kept her guard up, she appeared to relax a bit.

"Show me your hands," she demanded, taking charge of the situation.

"Sure," I said, holding out my hands. My left palm was open while my right hand held a stack of paper strips that she had been carrying.

"Not like that," she exclaimed, frustrated, as she stepped forward and took hold of my left hand.

'I was looking forward to unravelling her slowly, but this unexpected turn of events is intriguing.', I thought to myself.

I felt a strange, unfamiliar energy coursing through my hands, a minuscule amount but definitely a unique form.

"You truly possess no Qi," she exclaimed, astounded by something I had no awareness of.

"Guess that clears your doubt? Now I've got a few questions", I said, the words cutting through the tense silence.

"You are nothing but a mere human, unqualified to know about anything you've witnessed until now," she replied as she snatched the paper strips from my hands and began to walk towards the exit.

I added. "If you don't answer my questions, I might have to disclose what I saw to the general public."

"Go ahead. Only a lunatic would believe your story of a three-headed wolf," she scoffed.

"Sigh…", I heaved a long sigh as my eyes gained their original form.

"Perhaps, I've been a little too polite", I said. I couldn't let her leave without answers.

"What did you ju-" Her words cut off abruptly as she turned around to face me, her eyes widening in shock.

I released my energy around the hotel room, the air crackling with power as the lights flickered and the walls shook. It was like something out of a sci-fi movie.

"Sit…down…", I commanded, gesturing towards the couch in the drawing room.

She looked like a deer caught in headlights, frozen in place by the sheer force of my energy. It was a sight to behold, like something straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster.

"Now, let's have a little heart-to-heart chat", I said as the energy I was emanating disappeared and everything was back to normal.

"What's your name?", I asked as I leaned on the table in front of her.

"W-who are you?", she stuttered.

"You'll lose one limb if you cannot answer my one question, now what's your name?", she was barely holding back her tears with that.

"Ok, let's start with the basics. What's your name?" I asked, leaning in with my pen and paper ready.

"O-o-Olivia Huntington," she stuttered.

"Age?"

"22."

"Height?"

"6 foot 2," she replied, still sniffling.

"Weight?"

"54 kilos," she answered.

"Cup siz-, I mean, Nationality?"

"None specifically," she said, looking confused.

"Medical history?"

"A lot," she sniffled.

"Income level?"

"Never measured," she said, shrugging.

"Criminal history?"

"A lot," she said, her voice trailing off.

"A lot?!" I exclaimed.

"Uh, yeah," she mumbled.

"Okay, well, moving on," I said, trying to shake off my shock. "Relationship status?"

"Single and not looking," she growled, glaring at me.

"..."

Sniff

"..."

"Sto-stop crying!", I said, feeling like I was in the middle of a sappy soap opera.

"Here", I handed her my handkerchief, hoping she wouldn't snort it all up her nose.

"Oh great, let's get back to the Q&A game", I said.

"What are walkers?" I asked.

"People that have the ability to utilize Qi," she sniffled.

"What the heck is Qi? Is that like some sort of energy drink?" I asked.

"No, it's the energy in our surroundings, sniff," she replied.

I let out a deep sigh and shook my head, realizing that this was going to take a considerable amount of time.
