Body Cultivators cultivated their body and spiritual power. Sword, Spear, Saber, Hammer, Bow users, etc. are examples of Body Cultivators.

Whereas Soul Cultivators cultivated their mental power and soul power, accompanied by Spiritual power. They cultivate using certain types of special weapons called Soul Weapons which possesses consciousness of their own. Cultivation paths like Alchemy, Rune Creation, Weapon Forging, Array Formation, Etc. all required cultivators to be Soul Cultivators since soul power is consumed.

A major difference between these two cultivation paths were the damage it inflicts, Body Cultivators inflict their enemies with physical damage while Soul Cultivators inflict Mental damage on the mind or even the soul.
