Chapter 2 Xianxia Cultivation World

"WHAT!!!"

A shrill scream of shock and disbelief from the adorable girl, nearly gave a heart attack to Qing Ruo, who was being shaken by Ah Ling, who continued to exclaim her shock.

"Milady, are you sure? Did your enemies attack your spiritual body ? Or did someone poison you? Were you forced to say this? You're not serious, right?"

Qing Ruo tried to calm her down and put her to ease, resting her hands on Ah Ling' s shoulders, patting them.

"I don't think so. But I can't seem to recollect anything. "

Qing Ruo said with a gentle smile, causing another wave of unexpected turmoil in Ah Ling's heart, who had rarely ever seen that kind of humane expression on her master.

She gulped down her saliva and fell into a dilemma.

'Did Milady really lose her memories? This would be really dangerous for Magic Ethereal Palace if any of Milady' enemies finds out! '

Lost in her thoughts, the young maidservant was couldn't think of a way to confront the situation lying before them while, Qing Ruo still had a gentle subtle smile, looking at the maid's genuine dedication to her master.

Suddenly, Ah Ling looked up at Qing Ruo, just to see a gentle looking woman smiling at her innocently, and whom she had never ever neither recognised nor had seen.

'Milady she....'

"Umm...Ah Ling, you look like someone who was very close to me. So.... why don't you tell me about 'me'? Maybe I will recall some memories?"

Qing Ruo said in soft and slow tone, unbeknownst, that 'her' maidservant was availing more surprises.

Ah Ling, too, considered the idea to be feasible enough, logically at the least, and started explaining.

"Milady, your name is Bai Li Qing Ruo. You are ..."

And so, time went on, surprises after surprises, unexpected twists after unexpected twists, a good four hours had passed!

It would not have taken so much time considering Ah Ling told her master the general things to know. But she really went for the "shortcuts are bad!" concept and extended it by telling Qing Ruo of some memories of their time and moments together as well.

By the end of the wonderful tales narrated by Ah Ling, it was already late at night, and thus, she excused herself so as her master could rest and recuperate on her health.

Through Ah Ling's stories, Qing Ruo came to know that the room she was in was her Bed Chambers, which was accommodated with an extremely comfortable and soft bed made of exotic materials; a study table with corresponding furnitures; a huge hidden wardrobe of night gowns, suit robes, battle suits, shoes; a collection of treasures in an attached hidden room; a huge hidden library, an exotic bath pool and even a big balcony equivalent to a small room with exotic and rare plants and fruits; etc.

Other than that, the place she was in was actually a humongous place, which 'she' had named Magic Ethereal Palace, and even this palace was a very small portion of the Ranges of mountains and lands 'she' had acquired.

Her property that included a few mountain ranges, valleys, rivers, forests, plains, etc. was just next to Death Mountains, a place full of powerful thriving beasts and entities, desolate and separated by the rest of the World.

And YES! She was in a Xianxia Cultivation World where cultivators, demons, beasts, immortals, gods, etc. existed, like in the novels she used to read and write during her time as someone living on Earth!
