the request

What I felt at that moment were all different, yet same. I felt fear , pain , sadness, anger , hatred and dread all flow into me at once, felt like I was going to explode. I wanted to scream , shout and run at same time but I decided against it , there were too many things to loose than gain from such an action.

"Hello sir's " I finally greeted them , after the internal fights of emotions within me, trying to behave like I didn't recognise them.

"You are meant to sit there pal" Micheal said to Mason and the all left going to there seats

Micheal mouthed some silent words to me

He said "it's all for today , you could go and take your seat , would be with you later"

I immediately went towards the location of my seat and sat down when I finally located my seat, admist my shaky body and sweaty skin , I was trying to calm myself down as many thoughts flew through my mind, such as

Why Mason didn't say or react towards me after seeing me. I didn't know what was in his mind but I knew that whatever it was wasn't going to be good.

"I lost my memories to them, so that should count as a shield " I soliloquized trying to comfort myself .

"Hello every one , thanks for honouring my invitations, welcome to my hotels opening event and 31st..." Mason started his speech

Didn't take much time before he was done and was applauded and refreshments began, with business talks moving all around. I was bored out of my mind while trying not to directly look towards Mason's table since I noticed he was directly looking my way after a peep , I wanted to feign ignorance of who the were and that the knew me , I wasn't ready to have those two bugging my life again.

"Hello dear , hope you didn't miss me much " Mason said taking his seat beside me

"As if you weren't standing before me all this time , so why would I?"

"Ouch , you know that did hurt "

"As if I care "

"What's wrong , you seem pissed off , did I do anything wrong " Mason enquired looking serious.

But how could I tell him what's on my mind , he thinks I'm in loss of my memory and telling him would cause not just a problem from his side but Mason's side too and I couldn't take that heat at the moment.

"No you didn't, its just the meal served, don't know if it's the main course or just a side dish " I gave him this answer to relieve him of the stress of worrying himself.

He laughed after I said that and then replied me " that's the main course, that's what all this rich guys tend to take but don't worry yourself once we are done , we would go have a full meal , since it seems you're really famished "

"Ok thanks, Mr amateur " I said laughing

"Shh , don't call me that around this people, don't want them knowing my nickname"

I laughed at him and continued my meal "such a child " I said to myself

The party progressed, with the auctions and donations and finally greetings and after what seemed like an hour I was getting tired not only of the boring event but of seeing Mason and Samuel.

"Micheal, I'm getting tired , need to go take a rest , it's already eleven and its past my bed time" I said to Micheal who had just finished talking with other business men

"Ok, just wait for a few more minutes, let me give a closing remark and finally announce what I wished to announce , the stuff I told you about "

"Ok" I replied wondering what it was , he wanted to announce.

He immediately left our table and mounted the podium.

"Hello, once again to every one present, thanks for showing up to this event , I hope you all enjoyed yourselves" there were few murmurs and then he continued "by now some of us might be preparing to leave, even I'm about to, but before that , I have an announcement to make.."

"Ooh finally here it comes " I said to my self , increasing my attention towards his speech

"You all might have seen the man standing or who was seated with me although the night but likely no one knows him, so I want to formally introduce him and present something to him" he continued "Daniel could you step forward? " Micheal requested while looking towards me

I was nervous and seriously shaky but I managed to stand up and make my way towards him admist all the stares. When I got there , he immediately took my hands, ot made me look directly at Mason to see his reaction and as I thought he had his eyes fixed on us with it specifically on our entangled hands.

"He is Daniel by name"

"Hello" I greeted with the microphone on my hands

"I am introducing him as the new share holder of Miken Hotels ltd" I looked at him in a suprised manner but he just smiled without looking towards me "and also my boyfriend, soon to be fiance" I looked at him in shock this time , I couldn't remember ever saying a yes to any question nor signing any contact or something.

Still in my reasoning and trying to understand his words , I felt Micheal hands on my shirt which drew me towards him and then our lips met , causing an applaud. I was into the kiss fir a moment but when Mason's presence was recalled by me , I immediately broke the kiss and looked towards him. I could see the annoyance all over his facial expression but at same time , I noticed he was trying to hide it.

I and Micheal stepped down from the podium and was on our way out of the event centre to our room , when we were stopped by few guests , who offered there congratulations. The last person to do that was Mason and Samuel, and this was at the entrance as the were also leaving the premises like us.

"Congrats pal " mason said hugging Micheal and saying same words he brought out his hands to shake me , out of griping fear I took it as we shared, I felt his grip tighten so much that it caused me pain and when I looked him in the eyes , his eyes were as red as a blazing as a furnace.

"I think we are done with the shaking of hands sir " i said to Mason

"Yes, I also think so" he replied removing his hands

I felt relieved from the pains of my hands but the fear I had in me had increased immensely

"Goodbye then" Mason said to Micheal and I while leaving with Samuel

"Bye" Micheal replied as we also left on our own too.

While on our way to a hotel room reserved for us as Mason said He didn't wish to go home , I was thinking on what would be Mason's next line of action , although I had stayed with him for a while , I knew he was an unpredictable type of person, and no matter the time spent with him, you could never guess his move,which was the major reason of the my fear. Then coming to Samuel, he was oddly quiet as if , something was really wrong somewhere.

"A penny for your thoughts " Micheal said when he realized , that I had zoned out

"It's nothing much , just thinking about your speech , especially the relationship part " I lied

"That?, sorry for not informing you , I just wanted it to be a suprise "

"A suprise?" Then you should have popped the question instead of say we already were in those agreements "

"Sorry for that , but what if I popped the question now , what would be your reply ?"

"Apology accepted, what if I said no, what would you..."

"Dan would you be my boyfriend?" He took words from me

I looked his way as if I would disagree

"No, you can't be serious " he said looking down

"Yes" I replied

"Yes, what?"

"Yes , I would be your boyfriend "

"Are you serious, hope it wasn't pressure, fear or a sort of pay back"

"Neither any of those , I can't use my life as a payback anymore "

"What do you mean by that?"

"Nothing, just saying, I have liked you for a while and would like to be with you. You are my spec all round "

I saw Micheal blush and make some funny joyful sounds.

"Does he really like me that much, when I am the one meant to feel that way towards him" I soliloquized

The rest of the trip to our lodging room was quiet with Micheal staring at me all through the journey and smiling, it was as if he had won a gold medal, well I could cold my self a precious gold.
