CHAPTER 9: DESIRE TO KILL

Lucas turned to Iris after seeing the clock. "We better prepare for the next boss," He started walking in the direction they came from.

Iris nodded and ran up behind him, she synchronized their tempo and was walking step by step with Shikigami. "I wonder what the boss is going to be like. Maybe it will be like the previous one,"

Lucas shook her head, it wasn't going to be like the previous one. From the boss guides he was reading, it was going to be much more troubling than that. If the Boar King gave them trouble, this one was going to be on a different level mainly because magic did not work on it.

He glanced at Iris and heaved a sigh. "Magic doesn't work on it from what I've learned but it can't hurt to stock up on some magical spells."

Iris raised an eyebrow, finding it a bit difficult to follow Shikigami's thought process. If Magic didn't work, then what good would magic scrolls be?
