Mayhem of Death (2/2), June's Decision

On top of Arlan, a giant hundred meters tall half-body humanoid skeleton avatar appeared, all black with grey runic patterns on its bones while its body was covered by faint dark grey mist like a whirling cloak.

Its pitch-black wispy eyes glowed with bright white pupils, and on top of its head was a majestic black crown with dark purple patterns.

"W-What is that?!"

"That's definitely a legendary skill!"

"No. It seems above Legendary grade."

While the players were chatting, getting excited and thrilled from the screen, it was exactly the opposite for the people present before Arlan.

The dreadful aura permeating the atmosphere caused all players of UmbraFall guild, including Luna, to become terror-stricken as they could feel the terror in their souls despite this being a game.

'How?! Who is he?!' June screamed internally, still unable to move or free herself from the soul bindings Arlan put on her that rendered her useless.

Her stats were in four thousand, including her soul, so her power was a far cry from Arlan's mighty soul.

She could only watch with frustration and anger as Arlan floated with his arms crossed while the death menace above him stretched its arms and shot its deathly palms below on the members of her clan.

It was impossible to dodge or block the incoming deathly palms of the Death Lord that Arlan conjured.

The members of the UmbraFall guild didn't even resist as their terror-stricken eyes saw the palms descending and instantly killing them.

Many instantly logged out and started breathing heavily because it was too real! The game was fucking too realistic, and they knew that what that person did was also possible in real life!

Arlan's body was focused on a section of each town plaza's screen while another section showed the Death Lord above him as it slowly dispersed.

The only person alive was June because Arlan had kept her alive.

Arlan freed June from soul shackles and looked at her with a faint smile, his eyes giving chills to June. Her expression was somber, and she didn't do anything even after gaining freedom because she knew they had lost the battle.

"Who are you? A person like you shouldn't be unknown, but I know no one in Astral Community like you."

Arlan cracked a smile in response and said, "You are not worthy enough to know about me."

He was obviously trolling her, but he knew that Astral Community would soon get their attention on him, especially after what he did in this battle.

June grimaced upon hearing Arlan's response and didn't say anything further. A loser had nothing to say, and there was nothing to do here anywhere as he actively gave up and left the battle.

"Woah…" BlueMango was awestruck as he looked at the guild rapidly transforming.

Nina saw players' applications flooding the guild and was grinning from ear to ear as she accepted their requests to join the guild.

Arlan returned to the green Hill and said, "Handle the guild applications and whatnot about the guild. I am going to Nephires region."

"Also, tell all guild members to donate at least one hundred to however many gold coins they can daily. If not, kick them," Arlan added.

"Forceful measures aren't good, guild master," BlueMango said with a wry smile.

"It's the least requirement because the benefits I am going to introduce them will make everyone drool," Arlan said with a grin before he vanished from his spot after initiating teleportation by spending 13 gold coins.

'Oh no, I should start adventuring and get gold coins,' BlueMango thought as he donated 1000 gold coins into the guild before chatting in the Guild Chat.

Some regular players who were not part of Astral Community left, but that didn't matter to the guild.

"Elder June, should we tell this to Grand Elders?" Luna respectfully asked with a somber expression. " And decide on what should we do next?"

Elder June had just dropped a bomb on them, saying that the person who killed them all was near the level of Grand Elders of the Astral Community.

"Block all news regarding this as much as possible," Elder June said with a glint in her eyes. "At least, delay it from reaching the ears of other clans."

"W-Why?! We need to take revenge on him!" Kengi said with anger.

"Shut up, brat. This is no time for stupid things," June said with a snort.

"What's the plan, Grandma June?" William curiously asked.

"Getting an ally is better than making an enemy. All you lost was a thing that you did not know the importance of; it's not worth it to become hostile with him," June said with narrowed eyes. Her lips curled into a smile afterward as she continued, "He is a powerhouse with eccentric skills that I have never seen or heard before."

"We will make an alliance with him. Find him who he is and arrange a meeting with him."

"That, we already have some information," William said with a wry smile. "He seems to be afflicted with Blaze clan. The vice-leader of his guild is none other than Nina."

"Nina who?" June asked with a frown.

"The one that's going to marry Renold as his second wife," William said while shaking his head. "Blaze clan's current master really went all out to make use of his daughter this way."

"Most middle-grade clans are like that," June indifferently said. "What about Arlan? Where does he live?"

"We are in the middle of finding that," William said.

Turning to Luna, June said, "Go and speed up the process. I'll talk with the Grand Elders of our clan and tell them about my decision."

"Understood," Luna said with a nod and logged out of the game.
