Destination

They drove for hours into the night .As the Sun started peering over the trees , the car came to a stop .Anna rubbed her eyes at the imidiate bright light that came streaming thought the window .Max was still dead asleep clinging to her waist . She loved watching him sleep . He seemed so peaceful .

"Rise and shine y'all .We are here . There is a big day ahead of us . " Max shot up out of his sleep. He was trying his best to act like he had not fallen asleep .He was so cute with his obvious sleepy face . It reminded her of a baby's face that was trying it's best to stay awake . Christina was already out of the car . She opened up the back door gesturing for them to get out .

Outside the car Anna stretched her limbs to their fullest . "Man it feels good to be out of that little car. Now if all my bones would pop I would feel a little better . " Christina and Max started laughing along with another laugh that she did not recognise . She dropped her hands back down to her side ,looking towards the direction the new voice came from . Standing beside Christina was an older man with salt and peppered hair . Even though he appeared older he didn't have any wrinkles and his body was ripped with muscles . All he was wearing was a pair of shorts and some Nikes . Don't people become more modest with age , Anna thought feeling a little confused .

"Hello. My name is Chris .Welcome to my pack , we are called The Blood Moon pack .As I have read the letter sent to me from Mrs Christina ,you miss are in a great danger and will be staying with us till it is safe for you to go back to your own pack .Im sure after traveling so far you are all hungry . Why don't we go up to the cafeteria and get some breakfast I hear they are serving biscuits and gravy this morning .While we eat we can discuss everything that is going on and come up with a plan ."

Anna looked back and forth from Max to Christina .For some reason she felt nervous all of a sudden . Max gave her a warm smile . He put is right arm across her back trying to give her reassurance . He mind linked her keeping eye contact ,' Its all going to be okay I promise . You can trust them . I promise I will be right here beside you the whole time .' Moving his hand from the small of her back he grabbed her hand squeezing it a little for reassurance .Christina and Alfa Chris had already started walking ahead of them . Anna let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding in and began to walk beside Max as he tugged her along .

Her mind was full of anxiety . What ever they was going to discuss seemed very important. For some reason when this Chris guy spoke to her a minute ago , she felt intimidated by him. What if he isn't as good of a guy as they think he is ? Questions raced in her head along with all the possibilities of how her stay here could go wrong . As they reached the doors to the Cafiteria Anna took a deep breath .Pausing for a split second she looked at at Max who gave her a reassuring smile ."I love you Max . Please stay with me . " Max leaned down planting a kiss on the bridge of her nose ," I am not going anywhere baby . I love you to, with all my heart .
