Beginnings of Revenge

"FILTHY HUMAN TRASH LIKE YOU DESERVE TO DIE!"

Lena could not scream or move as she stared onwards in horror at the half-woman half-centipede abomination right in front of her. Its voice sounded like three howling women all talking at once. The aura of this creature was eerie and frightening.

The centipede-woman's half-naked body though part human looked nothing like one. It's hair was straight and long slightly covering its bosom. Two large antennae stuck out from the topside of its head. Below that were three slight horned protrusions on its forehead and mandibles on its human mouth. Its human hands with long nails were sharp like claws.

The most bone-chilling thing that caught Lena's attention was the lower half of the creature's body which seemed to have somehow merged with a 30ft length of a giant centipede. Something akin to a naga*.

Lena shivered in disgust before mentally catching herself. She had just begun to turn and run again when only seconds later she felt a sharp pain shoot across her back. Lena gasped in pain before coughing up blood.

The vile creature had slashed across her back with its sharp claws.

With a quick motion, she reflexively used the small dagger in her right hand and stabbed the creature tearing out a piece of its flesh from its chest and cutting off one of its arms.The centipede woman screamed a piercing shrill, then with its back forcipules, stabbed Lena's chest, crucifying Lena to a nearby tree.

Lena sucked in deep breaths and her vision slowly began to become blurry. The shock of the impact had caused her dagger to drop onto the ground. This was it. She was going to die.

'What have I done to deserve this! Fuck!'

Lena looked up at the cloudy moonlit sky and wondered why she had to die. Weakened from the pain she could not muster up enough strength to escape.

The eerie centipede woman's head, as if possessed, rotated in a 360 degree angle twice before lowering itself coming face to face with Lena. It wrapped itself around the tree that Lena was impaled to making escape impossible.

The centipede woman smiled and chuckled evilly. A snake's tongue darted out of its cold purple mouth and licked along the side of Lena's cheek.

Lena wanted to vomit as the smell of its putrid breath permeated the air. It smelt like rotting decomposed flesh.

"YOU FOOLISH HUMAN GIRL! YOU ARE CURSED HERE TO DIE!"

The centipede woman seethed in anger. How could a mere human girl cut off one of its precious arms. This girl seemed different from an ordinary human.

Lena "!"

Raising her head arrogantly Lena weakly spoke up.

"If you have something to say spit it out? You don't make sense you motherf*****!"

"!"

The beast was shocked.

"Ah ha ha ha ha! Impatient are we? Well, well... It looks like you truly don't know anything. However, I suppose I will let you in on a little secret before I consume your flesh and bone."

The beast leaned in towards Lena and whispered into her ear.

"The one who cursed you to die a painful and gruesome death is someone who is close to you. I am unable to say anymore. After all I've made a contract."

"Who?" Lena spat out as she gnashed her teeth together in irritation and pain. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Lena's voice came out weaker than she had wanted.

'Shit! Talking is using up too much of my energy.'

Lena creased her brows in frustration.

'This creature was toying with her. A contract! Cursed! Who in my life would want me dead? I have always treated everyone equally and believed in killing my enemies with kindness.'

"Foolish human girl. You will cease to exist in this world soon enough. There is no point in answering the rest of your questions. You will never be able to see your family again and everything you have will crumble away into dust. Are you that dumb and stupid enough to not have figured this out! I was certain you would have been able to notice by now the one who betrayed you."

Her time was almost up. She could feel her life force slipping away. Lena closed her eyes and thought quickly. Who? Who on this earth could have betrayed her to die a miserable death? Was what this monster saying true? The questions she had, had soon enough begun to torture her mind and soul.

The centipede woman laughed again.

"You will never know!!! Ah ha ha ha ha!"

Lena could barely see straight anymore.

'Ah… So it has come to this!'

Lena couldn't even cry for herself. Her heart at that moment hardened and became filled with hatred. With rage in her eyes she burned for the need to revenge. As she took her last breath the centipede woman tore apart her body and consumed her flesh.

Like ashes being blown away by the wind Lena's soul floated along in an abyss full of darkness, her soul seamlessly fading away.

"If God exists, please I beg of you.Give me a second chance at life!"

At warp speed a light enshrouded her soul. Lena found herself hovering in the middle of a strange room filled with light.

A voice spoke.

"CHEAT SYSTEM ACTIVATED! SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE APPROVED!"
