Xu Deming and Jiang Qiuping took a taxi to a high-end restaurant.

This was the place where Mo Jinxin was treating everyone to a meal.

Upon reaching the private room mentioned by the other party, they opened the door to find only two people inside, Liu Kaile and Song Li.

"Old Xu, Old Jiang, you're here, take a seat," Liu Kaile greeted them.

"Has Mo Jinxin not arrived yet?" Xu Deming and Jiang Qiuping sat down and immediately asked.

"Not yet, he said he had some matters to deal with and would be late. You know how it is with billionaires like him; being busy is pretty normal," Liu Kaile explained on behalf of Mo Jinxin.

"Oh," Xu Deming nodded, saying nothing more since they had arrived more than ten minutes early anyway.

"Old Xu, how did you get here? Did your son drop you off?"

Liu Kaile recalled the scene a few days earlier at the airport where he saw the two of them getting into a Rolls-Royce and wanted to confirm if the situation was as he had imagined.
