SATURDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER

Okay so I've decided to wear sweatpants with a cropped top and sneakers. Rih didn't like it but I didn't care, it's not like I'm going to meet my boyfriend or something. It was time for breakfast so we all moved to the cafeteria. Usually, Josh, Rih and I sit together but I don't know what happened today.

"Josh come sit with us" I called out to him.

"No! I'm good" he kindly declined

"oh! come on Josh you just want attention" Rih spoke rudely

"NO!" Josh defended

"Oh! please, you and I probably everyone here knows that" said Rih getting up and stamming the table

"WILL YOU STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING TO HIM" I said in a loud voice

"NO!" She said

" Why not! Ever since Ethan asked me out, you and Josh have stopped talking"

"And so what!?"

"Are you jealous Rih"

" Of course not! why will I be jealous of you and Ethan"

"I'm not talking about Ethan and I. I'm talking about Josh having feelings for me."

"Excuse me?"

"You like...no wait love Josh don't you?" I asked her

Everyone in the cafeteria went silent

""NO!" she said with teary eyes and run out of the cafeteria.

I wanted to follow her but nah she deserved it after treating Josh that way.

"You shouldn't have done that Lexa" Josh turned to me

It was good I did that so that she'll be aware of what she's making us think of her" I told him and with a sigh he left.

Later in the afternoon I went to our room to get ready to meet Ethan.

I saw Rih with a bowed head crying. How long had she been crying ( I thought to myself)

"Why did you do that to Josh? You disgraced him ..why? Tell me why?" I questioned

"Just leave me alone" she said throwing a pillow at me.

Although I was mad at her, at that moment I realized that she was really sad so I had to apologize. I went on her bed and placed her head on my shoulder and said ,"we've been friends for six years now, you know me. So tell me why you are acting strange all of a sudden?"

"Josh and I were dating in 8th grade" she said sobbing.

"WHAT!? Why didn't you guys tell me this?"

"We thought it wasn't necessary .. no I thought it wasn't necessary"

"Really?" I said in a snobbish manner

"yah, really"Rih said " Look Lexa, whatever I'm about to tell you, don't tell anyone even Sabrina, your childhood friend in Miami okay?"

"sure" I replied with my heartbeat going as fast as a racecar

"Promise?" she asked

"Yep, I promise" I said while doing a pinky swear

" When Josh and I were dating, I got pregnant and had to terminate the baby"

"WHAT!? WHY?"I asked in complete shock

"My dad made me. He even wants me to be a politician like him"

" But you're not studying anything related to politics, are you?"

" No! he doesn't know I'm not studying politics"

"Huh!?" I said confused

" My mom is covering up for me."

"oh cool!"

" Also, why I want you to date Josh is that, he's a playboy. He has impregnated more than five girls and I fell victim. Innocent yet guilty inside."

" If he's like that, why do you act so cool with him"

"I'm not that close to him like you are. You yourself have seen it all. I barely talk to him."

"Now I know why you barely talk to him."

"You've been wondering huh!?" she said with a light smile

"Yah"

I hugged her and told her everything was going to be fine, it is just a matter of time.
