Discovered

I discovered a long time ago.

To keep things away from light,

Things I just don't wanna see.

The little unspoken words I buried.

I discovered to be me,

I discovered to walk alone in darkness...

I discovered to depend on me.

That I was much better on my own,

I learned to switch off my mind,

when it got too overwhelming to hear.

I discovered light in my smiles.

I forgot to continuously wear facades of laughter.

I discovered to cocoon myself,

That my existence never mattered.

I discovered to suffer a little more,

until my own world started trambling,

then I discovered to write my existence.

My new image grew from my written poems.

I discovered to put back my missing parts.

I knew I still had choices.
