77. The Silent Heroes of Konoha

Itsuki had already decided, that no matter what happened he would be taking Airi and Fuu with him today.

It wasn't in his plans to kidnap so many Tailed Beasts together, at least not 3 during 2 months. But what could he do when most of their situation was that bad and it was advantageous for him to build a bond with them this early considering they were young.

But maybe he was just overthinking, there was no way hidden villages would publicly announce or even let the news of their Tailed beast missing leak out. Just like Kumo where nobody except the higher up knew.

And unlike Konoha, neither Kumo nor Suna had rats like Danzo in it who would try to threaten their village's safety just for the sake of their ambition. Well right now Danzo didn't have as much power as before and even the matter of Yugito was a secret between him and Hiruzen.

Itsuki will not kill Danzo he will instead make his life worse than death. Just like how his fellow buddies from the elder council were still alive...

"Sensei how was it? " Itsuki asked Tsunade as both of them were gazing at two people who were suspended in glass containers filled with green nutrient solution.

"Honestly , they should be dead from all the stimulus they received but due to your chakra sustaining them, miraculously they come back from near-death situations each time" Tsunade said with equal points of surprise and exasperation as she gazed at her talented disciple.

"Well as the esteemed elders of Konoha, how can I let them die! , especially since they are 'voluntarily' contributing to this experiment which would surely increase the village's might " Itsuki said with a righteous expression as he gazed at Koharu and Homura in the glass container with a respectful expression. But there was a hint of a smile on his face as he gazed at both of their hands slightly clenching, indicating that they were fully conscious.

Itsuki couldn't help but feel a little refreshed, he didn't feel happy but felt like some chains that were related to his being were set free.

These two old coots along with that one-eyed cyclops dealt with the Senju clan together, suppressing their clan both openly and secretly. Why did so many Senju clan members get ambushed by a sudden group of enemy shinobi at the borders?

Well, the answer was before them. Itsuki clenched his fist while he gazed at them. Even his parent's death had something to do with them. Danzo had talked about his plan with these two, although he didn't say he was planning on assassinating Hiruzen he just said he was going to to reduce Hiruzen's strength by eliminating people from his faction.

And Koharu and Homura sent all the information needed, in their eyes weakening Hiruzen meant they could have a better grasp at ruling together just like in the old days and get away with a lot of things considering that Konoha had lost a lot of people in the war.

What these two did could be considered betrayal, and they should be executed but death would be too kind for them. How could he let the people responsible for the death of his parents have an easy time?

Even if he now had a happy life and was surrounded by his wives and children, he could never forget his mother's warm smile when she held him in her arms while he was scared or sad.

His parents told him that they would be going on a business trip and he sent his mother off with a happy smile while she gave him her characteristic warm embrace.

But he never knew he would not be able to feel it ever again, and when he met his mother again she would be a cold corpse.

And her always gentle smile lost all of its warmth, and in its place was just coldness...

Her gaze towards him was gentle while when she shifted her gaze towards the glass containers it was cold with a hint of sinister intentions hidden beneath...

Itsuki was lying on the bed while he felt his face was between the softest pillows. He thought this was heaven as he felt Tsunade's caresses on his hair.

Although his Sensei acted very violently she can be surprisingly gentle at times.
