Chapter 15: OFFICIAL MEETING

Taking a bold step with a new revolution to keep her position no matter what, everything depends on this proposal, Mina walk into the seminar room with her secretary on her heels.

Is everything set, she ask the head of tech unit 

Yes manager everything is ready, here ma'am, he gave her the ppt remote control, thank you, you can be on standby, yes ma'am.

How many minutes do we have left till the Daniels arrive?, um about 1 minutes or maybe some seconds.......

Good morning Mr Daniels, please come in, she could hear the staff ushering Mr Daniels in. Taking a deep breath, she walk to the front of the seminar room prepared for the presentation when the door opens.

A tall figure claimed in a deep blue paka suite, walked in with a dark and cold aura, with mens in suite behind him.

What!!!!, What's the doctor doing here, is his father not suppose to come, I mean who is he exactly, a doctor or a business guru...no he's more of a tycoon now with those look, how many personality does he have, Mina keep scrutinizing him when his deep voice cut the silent short.

May I have the honour to introduce myself and my committee, I am Erickson Daniels, first son to the Daniels, here are my colleagues, I will go through this meeting on behalf of my father.

You are welcome Mr Erickson, please do have your sit, she points to the chairs. 

You are welcome once again, I am the manager of this prestigious corporation, my name is Mina Bernard, I will be anchoring the meeting. May I start by introducing to us why we are here.

This presentation is about the  proposal for the robots production...........

Going through the decided products, when and how to produce, materials needed, tech companies to partner with, targeted customers, and the project budget........she finish the presentation with a note of appreciation.

Hmmmm, Miss Mina, what makes you think this project is worth it and we are going to get enough profit if we venture into it?, 

I believe it will because of the targeted customers

Which are ?

Children and teens from age 3-20

Did you take seasons and functions into consideration?, Eric ask again 

The product is season independent and the functions varies with age even though they will all be of the same build up, Mina aswer with confidence.

And dont you think the budget is too much considering that the product is yet to be tested and we still don't know how much it will strive in the market, Eric probe harder

The budget is for the overall production after the tested samples undergo quality control and becomes a success, Mina answered.

Hmmm ok so why do you propose this proposal to the Daniels corporation, he ask again

Because this is not the first time the Daniels corporation will work on high tech product and ours which is just starting, I believe if we combine our own idea and your experience in tech production it will be a huge success.

Okay I don't know if I should sign the deal now or we wait after the first batch and see the output 

Mr Erickson Daniels, I believe the first batch wouldn't be possible without you, I would be be glad if you give us this chance and I promise you wont regret it.

Owk then, he took his pen to sign the contract, I believe we have a deal then.

Ok good, since we have limited time, kindly forward your presentation to our tech unit as soon as possible and let them start their work ofcause with your co-operation.

Yes, I will do that right away, thank you for your time.

Congratulations darling, for the new deal, Evelyn hug her friend after the meeting. Thanks honey 

Miss Mina?, Mr Erickson wants to see you in the waiting room.

Entering the waiting room, Mina saw Eric standing in front of the window overlooking the city, Mr Erickson, I want to thank you for signing the deal and accepting the proposal.

Call me Eric and may I call you Mina, ofcause please do 

Okay Mina, let me congratulates on your new deal, that's a nice proposal, you did well

And here I taught I might have disappointed you with all those questions you are bombarding me with

Mina when we are in that room it business we are discussing and it very important so I need to be verse about it.

Oh really I think you change base on what you are doing, how many personality do you have Eric 

I myself don't know, well like you said depending on the situation, so business is over, how about we talk about something more personal.

Anyway that's in the past, all we need to do now is find a way to clear ourselves, Mina reply 

But that's not necessary either we clear it or not, there will surely be a marriage contract between the two corporation.

Hahaha Mina laugh out, and who told you am going to agree to that, I mean we barely know each other.

And that's why we are having this conversation, how about a lunch sometime to get to know each other, what do you think Mina

Look Mina I myself don't know and am not promising anything but I think I might have some feelings for you, I know you feel it too and I know it absurd, we  have only met three or four times and haven't have a real conversation yet but if you could give us a chance to find that out I will be glad.

And what makes you think that I return your feelings which you are not sure about yet 

Mina I see the way you look at me, he said walking toward her,

Mr Rushell, how is the plan going, Elizabeth ask 

You don't need to bother yourself ma'am, am a good friend of your mother and I will do anything to help you.

So when should I be expecting the effect.

It will take some time madam, because we do not want any loop hole that will lead back to us or something that she will get out of at all, it should be a one hard strike.

I will leave you to start working on it then, she said leaving the office while dialing her mother's number

Hello mom, it done he has start the work, very soon you will hear the good news, am going to her office now to congratulate her on her doom which she just signed, she said hanging up.

Knocking on her sister office door, Elizabeth enters with her brightest smile, good afternoon sister, I heard about the success of the deal, congratulations am so happy for you and am glad to have such a competent sibling, please tell me anything I need to do to help you.

Thanks Elizabeth, I really appreciate it, ofcause I will let you know as soon as we start work, for now we need to decide whether we go to the Daniles Corp during the course of the project or we designate a place for them here.

I believe designating offices and workshop for them here wouldn't be a bad idea, Elizabeth reply her sister

I taught so too, I will communicate with them and see how it goes, alright sister, I will leave now, am still taking a tour round the company.
