The Annoying Bird.

It was weird after so many years of being in this void, this abyss, this hell he finally heard and see something. It had been so long since he has even heard anyone's voice but now a floating blue screen was in front of him.

As he heard this he was shocked he knows what the word God means but he couldn't help but internally curse at them for making him suffer this much he couldn't even remember who he was.

He thought hoping it would hear him to which it did as it glowed bright ultimately making the black abyss glow and when he closed his eyes he found himself in a field of what seemed to be wheat.

"Odd." He spoke which startled him he spoke! it had been so long since he had actually spoken his voice was weak but he still spoke.

[Ding!]

He heard a small 'Ding' as he looked ahead to see the screen once again in front of him but this time it showed what he could remember were statuses.

As he read it he couldn't be helped but be more confused was his name V? No, it isn't it felt familiar but it isn't his name he looked around the field feeling the wind hit him well... everywhere he looked down and he appeared to be naked.

"You know you should try to find some clothes! are you a masochist or something? didn't take you for one buddy!" A voice above him spoke he looked to where it came from and saw what appeared to be a bird whose eyes have three golden pupils each, and his beak is unique in that it is several beaks in a mandible configuration. it looked creepy but it didn't scare him he even felt excited seeing him to which the bird? noticed.

"Shucks buddy im flattered but we really gotta get you some clothes!" The bird? responded as it flew away leaving him alone.

"V..." He muttered feeling that it was familiar but wasn't his true name he decided to stick with it, and so he waited for the bird? to return as he messed around with the floating screen in front of him he only saw three other words on the side of it. Status, Quest, and Inventory he knew what the word inventory meant so he clicked it hoping to find some clothes only to find a book with the initial V on it and a cane which he felt familiar with he was even able to spin it around a few time's, and so he grabbed the book and opened it, it consisted of what seemed to be poetry by someone of the name William Blake.

"To see a World in a Grain of Sand and a Heaven in a Wild Flower,

Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand and Eternity in an hour..." He read the lines in the book as he felt that it was quite pleasant but before he could read any further something soft fell on his face.

"So you some kind of Shakespear now? We're you that bored when I left-" But before the bird? could speak the clothes he brought which appeared to be a skirt got thrown at his face.

"Do I look like a woman to you!?"V yelled as he threw the skirt that the bird? brought back.

"Hey, I went to so much trouble to steal that! I don't even get thanks jeez!" The Bird yelled back at V but as soon as he finished talking he landed on V's Shoulder.

"Alright Shakespear listen up, WE have no idea where we are and you lost control of the other 2 definitely weird, And by the look of your face, you don't even remember me! your old pal Griffon!" Griffon said as he pecked V multiple times in the cheek. While V could only smack him away.

"What do you mean?" He asked clearly confused he was in the void for many years he knew for a fact his name isn't V but it was familiar but if the bird In front of him wasn't lying he should know who he is or at least who owns this body.

"Now come on let's get on with it! Make a contract with me!" Griffon yelled as he flew around V who subconsciously held his hand out which accepted the contract. He felt his body having a slight burn until he formed tattoos around some parts of his body.

"What the hell!" Griffon yelled as he was shocked to see a floating screen in front of V

"That solves the clothing problem but I wonder what is the cane for-" But before V could even finish his words he fell to his knee clearly weakened.

"Man you're still weak as hell! but at least you aren't turning to dust!" Griffon laughed as V only grunted as the cane appeared on his hand and the clothes seemingly have been worn by him.

"Now let's go, princess! let's get your weak ass body something to eat!"

"I would eat you if you don't shut up" V said as he slowly walked the dirt path ahead of him
