Reaching the Village

After Shiro completed her evolution, we started walking in the direction of what I believed to be Rimuru's village. Of course, I already knew that Souei's investigation team had already found us, but I didn't worry so much about this considering that I had already suppressed my aura.

The reason I wanted Souei to notice us is because of the existence of Shiro, who is also a former resident of the Ogre Village, which in itself is a big change in the story of Tensura.

And the reason it was at this time is mainly because Gabil has already visited the village, most probably at the time we left in the direction of Rimuru's village.

During the way to our destination, I got to witness Shiro's strength in combat and I must say that I was impressed. One of the encounters we had was against a Blade Tiger, and the reason was that we were hiding our aura so it was obvious that we would be attacked, and the battle was basically like that.

"...!" Shiro had noticed a hostile presence approaching us. "Master, there is a monster coming towards us with evil intentions." Shiro warned me as she pulled on my cloak and looked towards the east.

"Yes I got it, apparently it is a Blade Tiger" I spoke to her as I turned towards the location of the monster. "Do you want to deal with it?"

"Leave it to me master." She said with a cheery smile on her face as she ran at an impressive speed towards the monster, which was already in front of us.

At the first moment Blade Tiger was surprised by Shiro's quick movement towards him, and the first blow was Shiro's, with a swift and accurate kick to Blade Tiger's jaw, causing him to fly backwards.

By this time he had already fainted, as his strength was nowhere near Shiro's, who should be on par in terms of power with the current Rimuru.

The battle was fast anyway, of course I stopped Shiro from killing Blade Tiger as there was no reason to do so.

"Shiro you were amazing, even if I was expecting this level of power from you." I said as I approached her. "Good job!" I exclaimed, petting Shiro's head, and giving her a proud smile.

At that moment Shiro's eyes began to sparkle for a moment, until she turned her head back to the way we were supposed to go and said.

"...Thank you..." With a shy tone apparently.

I gave a small giggle at Shiro's shyness as I looked back towards one of the trees, and there was Souei, watching us with a surprised look on his face, and this surprise increased even more the moment he became aware of my gaze.

At that very moment he moved back through the shadows towards the village. And of course, I told Shiro that we should be on our way again.

Besides this fight, I was able to find out more about Shiro's past, and about what happened to her after the village was attacked.

Apparently she was a normal child who only had one friend, that being Shuna.

I was also able to find out that she did not get along very well with the other children because of her different colored eyes. But Shuna and the others always treated her normally.

Shiro lost her family because of the orcs, when she told me how this happened I completely understood her hatred for them.

Otherwise our walk continued, with me telling her a little about myself, and her doing the same for me. We walked for a long time, so I think I already know almost everything about her.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While Mika's peaceful walk with Shiro was going on, in a certain conference room some people were having a very serious conversation.

"-What?!" A tall mature man with spiky, short, red hair knocked on the table, surprised by Souei's news.

That was Benimaru, and along with Shuna, Shion, Hakurou and Kurobe they were all surprised by the information Souei brought to the conference table, even Rimuru couldn't help but show interest in the matter.

And the reason for that was Shiro.

"...Souei, do you assure me that this information is 100% valid?" Benimaru asked Souei.

"...Yes Benimaru-sama, I saw another surviving ogre besides us, and apparently he is coming here."

After that answer, silence permeated the entire conference room, everyone was very surprised by that information until Rimuru interrupted the silence.

"Ahem, w-well if that is true then they should be here soon, let's worry about the Orc Lord for now, Souei didn't you have more things you wanted to say?"

At that moment everyone looked at Rimuru with clearly surprised faces. Souei went back to talking about the Orc Lord calmly, while avoiding talking about the subject of Shiro during the conference.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now it is already another day and we have arrived at the entrance of the village. And to my not-so-surprise, there was already someone waiting for me there, more than one person in fact. Rimuru and his 5 kijins were there, with very strange faces for someone like me who had no social experience after the age of 8.

"Hello-"

Before I could say anything, I was interrupted by Shuna who ran towards Shiro and hugged her. "?!" At that moment I was confused, but apparently Shiro was not bothered by that on the contrary, in fact she appeared to be happy.

"So you're alive." Shuna said to Shiro, as she moved her body away from her, the two appeared to be acquaintances.

"Yes I am, hime-sama." Shiro agreed with a relieved smile as he turned his head toward me. "All thanks to Master Mika."

The moment she quoted me everyone started looking towards me, Rimuru's analytical look with the Great Sage is also one of them. And soon I realized that he passed through my barrier and checked my true power, I noticed it by his face when he looked at me after a while.

'Great Erudite, is Rimuru analyzing me now?'

<<Affirmative.>>

'That could be problematic, my presence here means unbalancing in the Orc Disaster saga.'

I thought to myself, mulling over my lack of experience in shrinking my power. Apparently the kijins quickly took their attention off me, but Rimuru was still watching me. He sprang out of Shion's arms, leaping toward me. When he got in front of me he began to speak.

"So? Who would you be?"

Already expecting that he would ask me questions, I spoke what had already been prepared in my mind throughout the trip and since I had met Veldora.

Making a bowing position, placing my left hand on my chest, and lowering my head by 15 degrees I finished by answering.

"Leader of this tribe of goblins, I ask that you accept us as residents of this village." All while facing Rimuru, of course with the help of the Great Erudite to make the answer as natural as possible.

"Fumu." He muttered as if thinking.

The Rimuru I know from history is someone very generous, so asking for something like that just in this moment of danger due to the Orc Lord would make no sense if he rejected me now.

While I wait for Rimuru's answer I notice Shiro's gaze beside me, I unfortunately couldn't distinguish what that look meant. But when I looked back at her, by nature I smiled at her, who turned her head the other way as if in surprise.

When I turned my gaze to Rimuru, he already seemed to have made up his mind.

"Particularly I don't mind." He said with a tone of indifference as he turned his gaze to Shiro and completed his sentence. "Besides, the others appear to be acquaintances of the white-haired girl."

"Yes, I noticed that too Mr. Slime." I said with a smile on my face.

Turning my gaze to Rimuru, I decide to introduce myself to him.

"...I haven't introduced myself yet right?"

"My name is Mika, I am a Rushura." I introduced myself to Rimuru, while repeating the same salutation as before with him.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mika." Rimuru said to me, in a slightly excited voice. "I am Rimuru Tempest, leader of this tribe."

"I say the same Rimuru-sama."

When the introductions were completed, we entered the village. But before we continue the story we have to talk about the vision of someone who was very impressed by Mika's apparrition.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile inside Rimuru's stomach.

"-OOH!" Veldora shouted with that surprised dragon face of his

"What happened Veldora-sama?" The Great Fire Spirit Ifrit asked that tsundere dragon the reason for his sudden surprise.

Before answering Ifrit, Veldora kept his eyes fixed on that person who was standing outside the stomach. That was Mika, and Veldora hadn't expected Mika to show up for Rimuru for quite some time mainly because of the things Mika had said when they met.

"Mika... I can't believe he will interfere with the prophecy he himself predicted Kuahahahaha!" Veldora began to laugh.

Ifrit still confused, wanted to ask again the reason for the True Storm Dragon's surprise, but decided to keep it to himself for now as he realized that Veldora was genuinely interested in what was going on.

{Back to Mika's POV}

During my 5 day stay in the village, Rimuru had asked me if I was able to fight side by side with him against the Orc Lord. Considering that he had gone through my defenses and seen my true power, it is completely understandable that he would ask me such questions.

"...So Mika." Rimuru had started the conversation. "Would you like to fight on our side against the Orc Lord?"

At this point I was no longer trying to hide my power from Rimuru, nor from anyone else in the village. And that's another reason he asked me that question.

"Wait a minute, isn't Shiro already enough of a help?" I asked Rimuru. "I mean, Rimuru-sama Shiro is a pretty strong person on her own, I believe I won't be needed in this fight." I spoke to Rimuru, as I watched him getting ready to head towards the swamp. "In any case, I will help you if necessary, although I think you would be more than enough Rimuru-sama."

"...Well then Mika, come with us." Rimuru said as he looked in my direction smiling.

Three days passed after Rimuru invited me to fight the Orc Lord with them, and now we are in a camp near the swamp.

Shiro had a new look for this fight between us and the Orc Lord. Her hair was now just down to her neck, and her new clothes that were made by Shuna to Shiro's liking looked like this:

(Great Erudite's Notes: I still don't know how to describe clothes, so I'll leave you with the link to what I would like the clothes to look like for her: https://br.pinterest.com/pin/307089268355301862/)

Shiro seemed happy with her new clothes, so much so that she showed me the outfit several times asking me if it looked good on her or not.

Anyway, now we will rest while we wait for the time for the confrontation with the Orc Lord to arrive. Everything will probably work out fine, considering that now Rimuru will have Shiro's help during the confrontation against the Orc Lord.

What really worries me is in case some butterfly effect happens due to my presence in the story, but other than that, I think we are on the right track.

(Great Erudite's Notes: The next chapter will take longer to write considering the consequences of Mika's existence in the story. I will try to write the next chapter as accurately as I can.)
