Chapter 11

[Axel pov]

When I saw the doors start to open, Plague changed from my school uniform and started to move and it changed into the same outfit I wore when I helped save Katsuki a couple months ago. When the doors were big enough for me to fit through I pushed off the ground as hard as I could while also shooting webs at the doors to propel me through it even faster.

When I passed the door wings protruded from my back allowing me to fly through the air. Activating [Boost] I was able to travel even faster, I then started to smash every robot I could see in my path while keeping track of my points. I also made note of any interesting quirks my competitors may have.

Destroying one after another I keep pushing myself forward. Sensing some fear in some kids I noticed that they bit off more than they could chew. I used my [web] to save them by shooting a spider web at their backs and yanking them back so they didn't get hurt from the robot.

This is how the test continued. I destroyed every robot that wasn't already occupied from the seemingly never robots while also saving other kids from their battles so they wouldn't hurt themselves.

[Bakugou pov]

When I saw the doors start open I started to get excited while leaning forward. When the doors were big enough for me to fit through I pushed off the ground as hard as I could while causing mini explosions allowing me to fly. Spinning in the air to just slip by the door I started destroying the nearest robots with the highest points.

I continued to do this through this test but some idiots fought against some robots that they couldn't handle. I was just going to ignore them since it's their own fault not knowing the full extent of their power. But I just had to have that annoying Izuku's voice in my head telling me to do the right thing.

So I only helped those idiots when they really needed it. I let those other losers get minor injuries but helped those that were about to get some serious damage done to them.

[Midoriya pov]

When I saw the doors start open I activated [One for All] at 20%, this was my limit that my body could handle at the moment. When the doors were big enough to fit me through I ran as fast as I could because I knew that I needed all the time I could get to keep up with those two.

I focused on any robot that came my way but when I saw those in trouble I couldn't help but try and save them. Even though there was a heated competition I couldn't stand seeing people get hurt knowing I could save them. So I defeated as many robots as I could while also saving as many kids as I can too.

[Teacher lounge pov]

In the teachers lounge we can see the principal with the other teachers who were mostly retired heroes waiting for the second exam to start. To pass the time they were talking amongst themselves until the principal brought up the next subject that brought all the teachers interest.

"So, who do you think will get the top rank this year?" asked the principal to not a specific person but to all in a general sense.

"Looking at the students I am going to say either the Bakugou kid or the Midoriya kid. These have the best combat quirks for this type of scenario." Said a homeless looking man with bags under his eyes, also known as Eraserhead. Most teachers nodded their heads in agreement.

It was a simple answer since looking at most kids' quirks and the weaknesses that are an after effect of using the quirk the choice was simple. But 1 person knew better, this person was All Might. After seeing this kids battle with the villain a few months ago he learned that this kids quirk is very versatile.

The description of his quirk seemed like it only gave him a slightly enhanced physical strength and senses. While being able to fully encase himself in his quirk to add a bit of defense, he could also change the shape of the symbiote a little bit. Or that's what the description made you believe was the case.

In all actuality this quirk can be used in many different scenarios and it doesn't seem to tax the user that much either. After seeing everyones agreement he is happy that his successor was considered one of the runner ups in taking first place but he knows that was a lie. Deciding to tell what he thinks, All Might said.

"All though that's what it looks like at first glance I believe the kid Holgate will be the true winner of this event. If you remember a couple of months ago, 3 middle schoolers defeated a villain. Well the 2 you mentioned before and the kid I just mentioned were those 3 kids." All Might paused, making sure he had everybody's attention.

"Well, the Midoriya kid was the one who found out the weakness of the villain, Bakugou dealt with the villain and Holgate was providing support. From the description of his quirk it doesn't seem like what he did to defeat the villain was possible with his type of quirk. This was around 10 months ago so I can't even believe how much he has improved since then." All Might said revealing that the 3 kids that defeated the villain 10 months ago were the same 3 kids seemingly the runner ups for being first place this year.

"Well, we are just going to have to find out now don't we. Oh, and Aizawa, were there any interesting kids during the written portion of the test?" The principal asked curiously.

"Yes, it was the same three we mentioned and 2 others. The one All Might said he thinks is going to win actually finished his test in under an hour and actually fell asleep. After the tests were handed back I personally graded it to see if he actually completed all of it or just gave up. He not only fully completed the test but also got a 98% on the test." When Aizawa said this the teachers thought he was kidding but seeing how serious his face is they knew he wasn't joking.

"The other two kids mentioned also finished in under 2 hours and got a 88%, and the two kids we haven't mentioned yet are from the recommendations, they have also finished in under 2 hours with an 80%." Aizawa said finishing all that he found interesting.
