The road was awfully bumpy and rough as the carriage jumped and tumbled in its tenacity. And due to the abrupt jerk and jouncing of the vehicle, instead of sliding back peacefully to sit down where she hitherto did she ended up messing up her balance.

"Woah-" As she lost her balance she was destined to fall forwards yet again. But Wu was quick to wrap his arms around her. His reflexes and sharp senses were definitely in need of its due admiration. Catching her falling figure just in time he yanked her backwards towards himself. As a result of the force with which she was held and tugged back, she collided into his sizable torso. Sticking her entire frame against his chest for a brief moment before he loosened his gripping strength over her, he cradled her like a baby in his arms. He placed her gently over his lap with his arms looped around her body into his embrace.
