Chapter "Secret Revealed"

Ullmar began telling the story:

"Three years back, in the dark of night, I met Yume for the first time. She was running away from something, scared and limping. With nowhere else to go, she sought my help. Without hesitation, I extended my hand to assist her.

It appeared a bunch of guys were chasing her, but somehow, we managed to slip away from them. I walked her back to her place, where she lived with her older brother, Yoshi.

Yoshi warmly invited me inside, expressing his gratitude, but I chose not to ask about the encounter with those guys.

Later, Yume ended up joining the same cram school as me, which seemed like quite a coincidence. We became close friends afterward, but I couldn't shake off the lingering questions about those guys and why she chose to attend a school so far from her home.

As our friendship blossomed over time, I found myself deeply in love with her. One beautiful day, as we walked together, I opened up about my feelings, confessing my love for her. Happily, she embraced my feelings with a yes.

Our peaceful moment was abruptly interrupted by a sudden attack from a group of guys, and this time, their target was me!

They warned me to stay away from Yume; their intentions were dangerous, and they started closing in on us.

We were Trapped, we tried to escape, but we were surrounded with no way out. My only concern was keeping Yume safe, even if it meant breaking the promise I made to you, Hamlyn.

In a stroke of luck, Yoshi appeared with six of his friends, jumping into action to confront our attackers. With their brave actions, Yoshi and his allies defeated our assailants, saving us from harm.

Yoshi extended an invitation to his home, where he revealed his true identity as the leader of the Shingiki Gang.

Meanwhile, the ones chasing me belonged to the Red Evil Gang, led by a psychopath leader named Kenshin! a notorious leader known for his brutal and merciless tactics.

Kenshin was in love with Yume, which ignited a deadly conflict between the Shingiki and Red Evil factions.

Yoshi remained steadfast in his commitment to protect his sister. Despite their efforts to stay hidden by changing their location frequently, the relentless pursuit by the Red Evil Gang continued.

Yoshi, alongside the Shingiki Gang, vowed to protect Yume with all their might. They were ready to face Red Evil head-on and persist until the very end.

As Yume told her feelings for me to Yoshi, he smiled which held a hint of sadness. He explained that it is impossible, warning that my affection for her would surely draw Kenshin's wrath, endangering me.

Even with the danger, my love for Yume remained the same, and I made a firm choice to protect her, fully aware of the risks involved.

For a while, everything seemed to be going smoothly. However, three months later, while Yume and I were attending cram school, she received a distressing phone call that sent her into a panicked frenzy.

Without hesitation, she bolted from the cram school, and I instinctively followed in pursuit,

Arriving at her House doorstep, the scene before us was haunting: the six dearest friends of Yoshi lay lifeless, their bodies stained with blood.

Yoshi himself, drenched in blood, was on the verge of death. Tears filled his eyes as he begged Yume for forgiveness, Regretting he couldn't protect her, Yoshi, with his last strength, placed Yume's hand in mine, begging us to run far away from here.

With those final words, Yoshi took his last breath, leaving Yume's hand in my hand.

In a state of shock, I felt a sinister presence looming close by. I urged Yume to escape, yet understandably, Yume was overcome with grief and unable to respond, having lost her only brother.

Suddenly, Ten members from the Red Evil Gang appeared before us, led by none other than Kenshin's right-hand man, Daigo! Their intent was clear…. to capture Yume.

Despite my efforts to intervene, I was quickly overwhelmed by a brutal strike from Daigo, knocking me to the ground.

With utter disregard, he grabbed Yume by her hair, forcefully pulling her away.

Reacting on instinct, I swiftly grabbed a baseball bat and with all my might I delivered a powerful blow to Daigo's head, rendering him unconscious.

With the gang advancing, I had no choice but to defend Yume and myself and that was the moment I broke my promise to you Hamlyn, using my fighting skills to defeat each of them.

When the chaos calmed down, I held Yoshi's hand, promising to protect Yume with everything I had, even if it meant giving my life for hers.

After that I took the leadership of the Shingiki Gang, but then I faced a setback when the group disbanded mere months later.

Since then, I've been facing Red Evil alone, some Red Evil members also joined our school. I've done everything in my power to hide our family's identity, all to keep you safe from harm.

However, when you enrolled in our school, they soon found out about our sibling relationship and started targeting you, putting you in danger and it was the last thing I wanted to happen” Ullmar's words brought about a hush. Even after he finished telling the story, all eyes remained fixed on him.

"Why does the Red Evil choose to torture us instead of just killing us?" Hamlyn asked. "It seems like it would be easy for them to wipe us out completely.”

"Do you remember when I was injured, and you came to my aid?" Ullmar reminisced. "It was during my encounter with Kenshin. Despite my efforts, he defeated me effortlessly. Oddly, he didn't finish me off immediately. Instead, he spoke of marrying Yume before carrying out my execution. It appears he delights in our torment, he's just playing with us for his own entertainment.”

"The satisfaction he finds in this will eventually turn into regret." Hamlyn remarked in a calm tone.

"He might not kill me right away, but I'm afraid you might be his target." Ullmar simplified.

As the words settled, Sheryl, Hamond, Henry, Fredy, Ruby, and Rurina couldn't conceal the fear in their eyes. Surprisingly, Hamlyn remained calm, unaffected by the looming threat.

"Guys," Hamlyn began turning to his friends, "I think it's time for you to keep some distance from me right now. I don't want to put any of you in danger.”

Sheryl clasped Hamlyn's hand tightly "I'm staying by your side, no matter what." she declared confidently.

Fredy rose to his feet, drawing a deep breath, before fixing his gaze on Hamlyn with a hint of fury in his eyes.
