Memories You Can Never Forget

As the class rolled on, I was really getting into my studies, diving deep into the whole academic vibe. But then, out of the blue, I felt this gentle nudge, like the universe saying, "Hey, check this out." So, I looked up, and there she was, this girl sitting upfront. Her eyes, this warm brown hue, caught mine in a kind of mesmerizing way. I found myself just staring at her, totally caught off guard by this unexpected connection. Her eyes just grabbed all my attention, and man, my heart was racing like it was trying to win a marathon. I'm pretty sure she felt the same way... It wasn't like I hadn't seen pretty eyes before, but there was just something very special about hers, you know? I just couldn't stop looking at her; it was like her eyes had cast a spell on me or something. And then, without saying a word, she subtly pointed to my pen on the floor and gestured to pick it up. It might sound simple, but in that moment, it felt like there was this unspoken understanding between us, you know? Like a little spark in the midst of a regular day. "Memories You Can Never Forget" is all about the love story of Hamlyn Hasegawa, the brainiac of high school, and Sheryl Shinohara. Their lives took a whole new turn one ordinary day at school when their eyes locked, setting off a chain of events that would stay etched in their memories forever. Chapter "I Don't Wanna Die This Soon"

"Remove your foot from my book," Hamlyn seethed through gritted teeth.

"And what if I don't?" the boy retorted defiantly.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, let's calm down, guys," Fredy suddenly intervened, his voice cutting through the tension. "This is school, not a battleground. Hey buddy, do me a favour, please lift your foot off his book.”

"We're in school, that's why you're still standing," the boy sneered, removing his foot. "But let's settle this properly. Meet me at the school park after classes, and we'll finish this once and for all.”

“No, no, no, let's not take this outside. We're not fighting anywhere," said Fredy, his anxiety spiking.

"Deal," Hamlyn said firmly, showing no hesitation.

Fredy's eyes widened in disbelief at Hamlyn's unexpected agreement. While the boy smirked and taunted, "Looks like the little brother's got some fire in him.”

The boy then walked and stood facing Hamlyn, leaning in close to Hamlyn he whispered, "I'll kill you," his voice low and menacing.

"Let's see you try," Hamlyn retorted firmly, unfazed.

With mocking laughter, the boy walks away, leaving a chilling atmosphere lingering in the air.

Fredy's shock turned to anger as he turned to Hamlyn, "Are you out of your mind? Do you want to get yourself killed?" he yelled.

Hamlyn carefully dusted off his book, "Not just myself. Remember, they called you out too.” he replied calmly,

Fredy's expression shifted to one of horror mixed with a hint disbelief on his face, "No, I don't want to die this soon." he muttered

"Don't worry," Hamlyn reassured with a smile, "we're putting an end to this, once and for all.”

"I hope you've got a plan," Fredy pleaded.

Still smiling, Hamlyn glanced at the book in his hands.

"Is that a romance novel?” Fredy's interest piqued “Hand it over, I want to give it a read," he tried to snatch the book,

But Hamlyn pushed him back and shook his head playfully, "No chance. I'm reading this first.”

"Okay, when you're finished reading, just give it to me," Fredy stated.

“Nope, someone special is in the line," Hamlyn replied with a smile.

Fredy's eyes widened in realization. "Don't tell me, Sheryl recommended this to you?" he exclaimed. Hamlyn confirmed with a nod and a grin.

Fredy wasted no time, seizing Hamlyn's arm and pulling him along. "Come on, you're telling me everything" he urged eagerly. Taking Hamlyn with him…

In a secluded corner, Hamlyn divulged the details to Fredy, who listened carefully.

"That's fantastic, Hey, I've got an idea too. Remember Ruby? My cousin's sister?” Fredy remarked.

Recognition sparked in Hamlyn's eyes. "Ah, Ruby. Yes I remember her," he recalled.

"Yeah, she is in Sheryl's class, and I'm sure she will introduce Sheryl to us." Fredy revealed with a grin.

"Alright, I'll take her help," Hamlyn said with a smile.

"Awesome," Fredy replied, grinning.

"Lunch break is about to finish," Hamlyn added. "See you after school.”

“Yeah see you” Fredy confirmed, returning the fist bump before they parted ways, heading to their respective classes…

As the school day came to an end, Hamlyn and Fredy reunited on the stairs. Descending the steps.

As they approached the school's main gate, Hamlyn's eyes met Sheryl's. She stood beside the gate, appearing to wait for someone. Hamlyn smiled upon seeing her, and she returned the gesture, their eyes meeting as they exchanged smiles.

Exiting the school, Hamlyn continued to smile as he turned to Fredy, saying, "Let's head to the park now. some people are waiting for us there."

"You're smiling? Have you completely lost it? They'll kill us," Fredy protested, his eyes widened in disbelief.

"After seeing her smile, I can meet my end happily," Hamlyn calmly countered.

Fredy halted in his tracks, "You have the power of love. I've got nothing. Please, spare me." He tried to run away.

Ignoring Fredy's plead, Hamlyn firmly grasped his arm and pulled him along, a smile still lingering on his face despite Fredy's escalating anxiety.

Upon arriving at the park, Hamlyn and Fredy were met with the unsettling sight of eight boys awaiting them. As the boys caught sight of them, they stood forming a line, fixing their gaze upon Hamlyn and Fredy,

"Hey, this isn't fair! It's eight against two, hardly an even match!" Fredy's voice echoed.

Hamlyn's hand rose, commanding silence from Fredy.

"Just eight, huh?" Hamlyn proclaimed with a smile. "I will kill you all alone, you fools,"

Fredy's eyes widened in disbelief, an anger ignited among the boys.

"You're all just garbage." Hamlyn's voice cut through the tension, a twisted smile spreading across his face. "And I'm about to burn all the trash once and for all.”

As fury consumed them, the boys charged toward Hamlyn, their rage fueling their movements. Sensing the imminent danger, Hamlyn gestured for Fredy to move back.

As those boys near Hamlyn, one of them leaped and struck a brutal punch on Hamlyn's face, sending him reeling backward, blood streaming from his nose. Meanwhile, Fredy found himself overwhelmed as three of the boys started beating him, delivering relentless strikes.

In the chaotic onslaught, the remaining five boys focused their assault on Hamlyn, raining down blows upon him, each strike fueled by pent-up aggression.

Amidst the onslaught of punches, Hamlyn's voice rang out in desperate pleas, "Stop! Please, leave us alone! Why are you doing this?"

With each blow, the force behind them seemed to intensify until one struck Hamlyn's face with such ferocity that he was propelled backward, sliding backward before slamming his back against the wall. The impact sent him sitting down on the ground, his body crumpling under the relentless assault.

"We will kill you," angrily said one of the boys as they closed in.

Sitting on the ground, Hamlyn's expression shifted into a maniac smile, Then, unexpectedly, he erupted into maniacal laughter, the sound echoing through the park.

Causing both the boys and Fredy to freeze in confusion.
