"Get ready for tryout," the manager called in. It was time for them to go on the stage. The fans called their names, and the team name when they walked in and the members were waving back to them. Even for Shan, it became routine to appreciate their support by small waving.
They sat by the computers, rolled out their mouse pads, plugged in their keyboards and mouses, and logged into the game. His mouse pad was gorgeous, red and black, with sun, sakura, and a samurai's shadow. Every time he looked at it, it felt like he was another person. The feeling inside him was indescribable.
Shan put on the headset and ran around the game a bit, testing the responsiveness of everything. He set up the DPI he usually loved one less than it was the highest, then went into one level of the dungeon of chaos and tried some combos. The keyboard was okay too.
"Can you hear me?" The referee asked in their headsets. Everyone answered.
