Chapter 1. Friendship

The school garden was located not far from the classroom. It was a favourite place to find some fresh air on a hot day.

Large trees that provided shade and various kinds of plants with colourful flowers were a feast for the eyes.

Putra, Naya, and Abi spent a lot of free time at the place.

That afternoon, Putra's ignorant idea emerged when he saw a bookworm named Naya staring hard at her book.

Her eyes moved regularly to follow the words she read.

"Hey, burnt girl, what are you reading?" Putra forcibly pulled the book that Naya was reading.

"Give it back. Don't be nosy!" Naya complained, trying to get her book back.

Naya kept trying to get back her book which was held by Putra.

Putra deliberately stretched his hand up, so that Naya couldn't reach it. Naya was immensely struggling to get it back.

"Give it back! Don't disturb people who are seriously studying." Abi defended Naya.

"Oh, the hero is here," Said Putra.

"Can you stop bothering other people?!" Naya was getting annoyed.

"No, my hands are so itching to screw up when I see a pair of nerds like you." Putra chuckled.

"Hmm, better nerds than a bastard who do not know the direction of their lives!"

"Give it back!" Naya pinched Putra's waist as it was the easiest part to reach.

After all, Putra was quite tall, more or less the same as Abi. He wasn't commensurate with Naya's tiny body posture.

"Hahaha... Ticklish.. That's enough! Hahaha."

"It's your fault! Give it back!" Naya was getting more and more annoyed.

"Stop it!" Putra locked Naya's hand and sharply looked at her.

Putra moved his face closer.

Naya's face immediately turned red because their faces were so close together.

"Hahaha... Burnt girl got carried away, huh? I can't possibly do it. I don't want to touch your burnt skin... If I kiss you." Putra teased her.

"Geez, what a bastard!" Naya cursed.

"Come here, don't run. Let me pull your hair of pride until it's bald!" Naya furiously shouted.

Naya ran after Putra who liked to be ignorant to her.

Abi could only laugh at his two friends' behaviour, from the park bench he was sitting on.

Abi stretched out his legs as Putra was about to pass the path in front of him. Putra who didn't pay attention automatically fell on Abi's feet and fell to the ground.

Bruk! Sroooook!

"Ouch ... Awh!"

"Hahaha, feel it boy! It's because of your karma for bullying me." Naya was happy to see that her friend was in pain.

"Watch out, Bi. You always defend this burnt girl," Said Putra, annoyed.

"Aaarrggh, are you still calling me a burnt girl?" Naya ruffled Putra's hair until it became a mess.

"Stop it! Ok, I give up. I'm sorry, but don't ruin my crown hair," Putra asked.

Putra was most sensitive when it came to his hair. For Putra, the appearance was crucial.

"You better buy us a meal, my stomach is hungry," Said Abi.

"In the usual place? I'm tired of eating in the canteen," Naya complained.

"Yes, I'll treat you two. Let's go now." Putra invited his two friends to the parking lot.

They hurried towards the parking lot they usually went to.

Of course, they used Putra's car, because Naya had not received a driver's license from her parents, while Abi was only an ordinary person.

"Nay, can you please get me my car key?" Putra asked.

"Where?"

"Here in the front pocket of my pants" Putra thrust his pocket closer to Naya.

"Shit! Take it yourself! Why should I?" Naya didn't want to be trapped by Putra again.

"But it will be more exciting if you take it and it will be amusing when you stir the thing in my pocket" Putra mischievously laughed.

"What a pervert! You want this?" Naya showed her fist while glaring.

"Come on guys. Let me get it." Abi's speech style was curly.

"Eitsss.. If you take it, it will be tickled to die. It can break my shyness." Putra grumbled while shuddering at Abi's thought, rummaging through his pocket.

"Hahaha, my stomach aches to imagine two perverted boys in front of me." Naya laughed out loud until her tears came out.

"God forbid it, Don't let it be." Said Abi and Putra while simultaneously hitting their heads three times.

The girl's full name was Kanaya Putri Luwin. A girl with brownish skin like sunburn. She was wearing braces, straight hair over her shoulders and wearing square-rimmed glasses.

Naya's eyesight was already minus because she had liked reading since she was a kid and was also studious.

Somehow, she was always in second place after Abi, the brilliant man. It was only natural for him if he became the women's idol.

He was Abhimanyu Pratama, a model student who was liked by many teachers and students at school. It wasn't only because he was smart, but he was also polite, handsome, and kind.

He was a calm type of man who studied hard and achieved many things to make his parents happy.

Naya wasn't the only one of Abi's close friends. There was another friend, Putra Sanjaya.

The troublemaker young man who liked to break the rules, acted at will to achieve standards and the school owner's son where he studied.

He had a lot of interest but was a very loyal friend. He always fought for what he wanted. Somehow, the naughty young man secretly liked Naya.

Regarding his good looks, he wasn't inferior to Abi's. Let's say that Abi was a prince in white robes while Putra was a prince in red robes.

To be continued ...
