Start of a new semester, the start of your senior year. Gwen was scrolling her phone while walking in the lobby of the senior dormitory.

Where the hell is my room? she said as she continuously walks into the lobby

“urgh!!Finally!!” as you stopped in front of a room that matches the number of your card key.

You swiped your key to the door and enter the room, nobody was there but you knew that your roommates are already here as you can see a few suitcases inside.

“Nice room,” Gwen said to herself as she enters the bedroom.

The benefits of being rich! she said to herself as you fix your things in the closet. You can say that your living in a dormitory, but this is a special dorm. One unit is shared by two to three students, the dorm has its kitchen, a living room, and two bathrooms.

You were fixing your things when suddenly someone entered the room.

Gwen! both of them said loudly.

There she found her classmates Sarah and Zoe, they have been your friends since junior class.

“OMG!! I’m glad we are roommates again!” Zoe said

“Me too!” you said while hugging them.

Omg girl!! The Achilles Dorm is just a few meters away from our dorm! Zoe said as she unpacked her things.

“And is that important?” Gwen asked Zoe

Yes of course Girl! It only means I’m near to my only love Henry!!! Zoe said while giggling.

And Marcus too~~!! Sarah said

oh I see!! “Good luck to both of you then!!” Gwen said while laughing

Come on Gwen, when are you going to enjoy your life! Zoe said

Yeah!!! You’re pretty!! Oh no!! You are very pretty, you’re very rich! you can make hot guys fight just to get your attention. Don’t waste your life girl!! Sarah said

hahaha.. don’t exaggerate things, Sarah, “You sound as if I hate boys.”Gwen said

Oh, you don’t? Zoe said

No dear, They are not just my type. Gwen said as she lies in the bed and scrolls her phone.

“And by the way, have you heard the news?” Zoe said

“What news?” Sarah said

“Zeke is also in the Achilles Dorm!” Zoe said

OMG!!! that’s scary!

You stop scrolling your phone as soon as you heard his name. A-are you sure about that Zoe? you as your friend

Yup!! My info never fails, it’s 100% confirmed. Zoe said

“W-wait a minute, you seem to be very interested in the news Gwen? Don’t tell me you like Zeke?” Zarah said

OMG!! Gwen do you like Zeke?!

I didn’t answer them, instead, she stands up and took a towel from her closet, and enter the shower.

Hey Gwen!! where are you going! Zoe asked

“Shower!” You said as you closed the door.

Zeke ~ Gwen said while she was combing her hair.

Everybody here in HSU knows him and all of them are also scared of him. If you were to evaluate him, he is part of the Gangster Group, not because he like getting into fights, but because everybody in High Society, fears him, not because he is ugly, but because he is in the top 5 of the richest student in HSU. And also the most dangerous student when it comes to fighting skills. Everybody in High Society fears him, but you see no difference about him, all that you can see is his lonely eyes. What could be the reason for that loneliness? You want to know. And most of all, I am excited to see how handsome can he be when he smiles. You are so curious to know what’s the reason why he chose to seclude himself from everybody.

You were applying your make-up when the door opened. Then Zoe and Sarah get enter while holding a paper bag.

“Where did the both of you go this time?” you asked them.

We went in the out to buy some stuff. Zoe said

“Like what?” Gwen asked

I need a new set of earrings and new pair of shoes for tomorrow. Zoe said

I bought some new jeans too!! Zarah said

How about you Gwen do you want to buy new stuff too? Zoe asked you

Nope. My new stuff will arrive tomorrow. Gwen said while fixing her hair

W-what do you mean it will arrive tomorrow? From where? Zoe asked Gwen

From Hongkong. Gwen said

H-Hongkong You mean D-Deluxe? Sarah said

Yup! You said as you open your closet to get your shoes.

OMG!!!! You shopped in Deleux without even telling us!! Sarah said

"Lucy is the one who shopped for me."

L-LUCY? Lucy Evans?

“Yup!”

OMG Girl!!! you are lucky with those connections!!!! Zoe exclaimed

Having the famous Lucy Evans as your cousin makes you the luckiest girl in this school! Sarah said

Well for me, she is not the “FAMOUS” LUCY EVANS but my lovely cousin so stop exaggerating it guys! you said as you check your closet.

You’ve been trying a lot of clothes Gwen, what’s wrong with you? Zoe asked

I’m looking for a perfect dress to wear for tonight’s welcoming ball. you said without looking at your friends.

OMG!!!! I almost forgot the welcoming ball! Zoe said as she runs towards her closet.

Me too!!! Zarah said as she pulls out her luggage to find a dress to wear tonight.

All eyes are on them, the moment they enter the HSU Hall. Who wouldn’t miss the chance of having a glance at the High Society Royalty?

Zoe as the Duchess, Zarah as the Princess, and Gwen as the Empress of High Society University.

“Ohh the royalties are here” Gweb heard some students say as they walk into the hall

“Look how beautiful are them on their dress.” another student said

Zoe’s dress is a powder pink satin dress.

Zarah is wearing a green dress.

While Gwen is wearing a red satin dress.

OMG!! "

Gwen is so pretty in that red dress!" one of the students exclaimed.

"They aren’t the HSU Royalties for nothing"

What’s new!! The scene-stealer is here again! said the girl behind the students.

There they saw the HSU’s mighty queen, Margaux.

The queen of the brats, here in HSU, Gwen’s greatest competition. She is willing to do everything to take that empress title away from her

The party started when the school director walks towards the stage.

Good Evening Students!

‘Freshmen, sophomore, juniors, and seniors of High Society University. We are all gathered here to celebrate a new semester, as we also welcome newly enrolled students. And as your newest School principal, I would like to announce the new rules and regulations of the school and the school Dormitory. As you all know, we are going to be a little more strict about the curfew rules in our school. All of you are allowed to go in and out of the school grounds. But all of you will be given a specific time to return to your dormitory. Rule breakers will be punished according to the rule that you break. All of the new rules are listed in the new rule book that was given to you the moment that you enter HSU. All of these rules are approved by the board and the parents so all the concerns will be useless. Read the rule book and try to understand it all.”

“Thank you. please enjoy the party!” the Director said and get off the stage.

You were sitting at the table reserved for you when suddenly some guys walk towards your table.

“Hello pretty ladies!” the man said

“Hi Henry,” Zoe said

"Hello, my pretty duchess!" Henry said as he holds Zoe’s hand

And Hi to my pretty princess! Marcus said to Sarah

And hi empress. Henry and Marcus said to Gwen

"Hello, boys!" Gwen said

"Are you here to ask the two of them for a dance?" you asked the two

ah- y-yes Henry said he scratches his neck.

"Go on, don’t mind me here," you said to them.

Okay. we’ll leave you for a while then. Zoe said as she holds Henry’s hand

Everyone was happy dancing with their partners, some students asked you for a dance too, but Gen’s not in the mood for dancing tonight.

“So the empress is alone. I guess no one asked you to dance.” said a familiar voice beside you

It was Margaux, HSU’s Queen, your number 1 competition, actually no, she just thinks that she deserves to be Empress than you, which will never happen because first of all your family is way richer than her family. Margaux’s family owns a chain of Hotels and Restaurants while your family owns a global Telecommunication Company, an International Shipping Line, and an Airline Company. Plus you are the Top 1 student here at HSU.

“Oh Hi, Margaux!” Gwen said as she sipped her drink without looking at her.

Nobody asked the Empress to dance, what a wonderful dance, what a piece of wonderful news! Margaux said

You must be mistaken Margaux, I had a few, no, a lot of invites, it’s just that I’m not just in the mood to dance. But you, Let me guess nobody asked you for a dance? I’m guessing everyone here is so not into you tonight. Gwen said to Margaux.

You can see her face turned red.

oh wait.. you said as you called one of your classmates.

What is it Empress? he asked me

Do you mind dancing with Margaux? Gwen asked him

Ohh, I’m sorry empress, but my date is waiting for me, but I’m sure she won’t mind if you will dance with me. he said

Ohh. I’m not in the mood to dance tonight, go back to your date, don’t keep her waiting. you said while smiling at him

How dare you!!! Margaux said as she was about to throw me the drink that she is holding

I hate you! I swear you’ll regret doing this to me!! Margaux said before leaving me

I just took a deep breath when Margaux finally leaves you alone. You decided to walk around the school. I don’t know why you feel so bored tonight.

The whole school is filled with light because of the WELCOMING BALL so you don’t mind walking around plus the security here is very tight no one dares to enter this school.

You were walking around the Park area when you saw something in the Park that made you scared. So you walk slowly towards the park. But you saw nothing there. Gwen was about to go back when someone grabs her hand that almost made her scream, but the person put his hand into your mouth to prevent her from screaming.

“What are you doing here?

"Why are following me!” he said in a slow but firm voice. And you swear his voice gives me goosebumps.

Don’t shout... Or you’ll regret it! he said again as he removes his hand from my mouth

You turn around, and you were shocked when you found out who was it.

Zeke~~

I said why are you following me! he said as he tightened his grip on my hand.

I’m not following you!! I- I’m just walking around when I noticed someone here, I thought it was s-someone I knew so I followed you. And will you please let go of my hand! Gwen said to him

“What are you doing here in the dark in the first place!” Gwen asked him

“It’s none of your business!” he whispered to your ear

You have nothing to do with me, so stay away from me or you’ll regret it! he said to you before he let go of your hand and leave you.

You watch him walk away from you. Is it true that he is rude but you don’t think he’s scary?

Yes, his voice gives you goosebumps but it’s not because he’s scary.

It’s just that his deep voice is so good in the ear. It’s the first time that you hear his voice, and you don’t know why there’s something in you that makes you want to hear it again.
