Angela woke up with a wince, her whole body aching, as if someone had tried to squeeze her into a cup. She lay still for a few moments before letting the sleep escape her mind, then she sat upright in the small twin bed.
It was late morning, and she wasn’t quite sure what had woken her up. She’d never felt this tired before.
Angela tried reminding herself of what happened, and why she was feeling this way, she couldn't think of anything right now, her mind was so blank, and no memory came in place.
She was confused, and there was a throbbing in her head, like someone had hit her hard enough to give her a headache.
She closed her eyes leaning against the pillow slowly wishing for her memories to come.
They didn't, she couldn't remember what had happened the night before. It seemed important that she knew, but she just couldn't remember. Maybe it would come back to her after the migraine subsided.
