Ryker and Mashia looked at the bandits in contempt. 'Just because we looked like lovers does that make us an easier target,' they screamed in frustration.
Nevertheless, they looked at their enemies with no fear. The bandit gnashed his teeth before repeating his previous words.
"I said give us everything you ha-... Ugghh," he gurgled, his neck having been slit by Ryker before he could finish talking.
"You dare kill one of our members! I kill you," an enraged bandit charged, the one just killed was his younger brother. However, the older man's attempt was met by a hand grabbing his head before crushing it.
"Look who you are fighting you fools," Mashia insulted the dead man, the two corpses ignored in return to look at the one finishing them in a quick note.
The two were not the strongest but they were considered among the top 5 fighters in the entire bandit group. For two people to finish them off, clearly meant they were far stronger.
"You impress me," a voice called out, one of the largest men he had ever seen was walking towards them, looking at them like they were a prize for it.
"What about we make a deal? Joined our group and you will have the backing of a powerful family in the capital. To have someone as strong as you two, the patriarch would fulfill your demand,
You also have to give that man to us, we share the rewards with you, sound okay," he said, the leader fully believed the young man would accept it.
"No thank you, we don't want your backing," Ryker rejected him, the family usage of bandits to do their dirty jobs a major turn-off.
Surprised by the rejection, the bandit leader decided to compromise, "In that case, give us the young man and we will let you off," 'Surely you will accept the deal,'
"No thank you, I already promised him to help and I'm not the type to break his promises," he rejected the leader again, his body tense as he waited for the bandits to make their moves.
"Do you want to get involved in the fight between the Hal Family and Uru Family?! If that's the case, you are now our enemies. Don't worry, we going to savor the beauties you kindly give to us," the bandit leader said lecherously, his men quickly heading towards the group.
Ryker merely scooped before jumping towards the leader and punching him in the guts, sending him flying.
Surprised by seeing their leader get sent flying, they didn't pay attention for a few seconds, a fatal mistake as Mashia easily killed them, her dragon linage allowed him to defeat people with similar strength to her.
Recovering from the surprise attack, the bandit leader tried to fight back, but soon found himself being pushed back, attack after attack putting more wounds in him.
He roared, his body expanding, a technique to defend oneself while allowing the user to unleash a strong blow. The weakness of the technique, however, was that it would leave the user in a weakened state after using it.
The bandit leader smiled, waiting for the young man to attack, only to have his attack stopped, allowing him to end his life. Or that what's the leader thought.
While Ryker had been busy, he still took some time practicing Cultivation Techniques left by his parents. He had to choose which one to practice though as there were countless techniques in the library. In the end, he chooses several weapon techniques, from swords to spears, as most of the others could be learned from practicing the Cultivation Arts his parents told him to learn and use.
The Sword Technique he learned had allowed him a glimpse into the Lore of Sword, making his attack more powerful even if it's just a simple slash. His attack cut the leader in half, the leader still smiling even in his death seemingly not knowing he had just died.
Seeing their powerful leader were killed so easily, the other bandits tried to flee, only to be blocked by Ryker, a massacre soon taking place.

"So, you belonged to a powerful family," Ryker said, looking at the young man calmly.
"Yes, like the bandits said, I'm from the Hal Family," the young man answered, struggling to look at him in the eyes. How could he even dare as Ryker was someone who had killed someone a major realm stronger?
"Did the Uru Family attack you? That why we found you injured in that river?" Esran asked, having joined the conversation to ask a few questions of his own.
"Yes, that's true. Though the Uru will definitely claim otherwise. That's why they used bandits to do their dirty work so it will be harder for others to accuse them of anything," the young master explained.
"Why did they suddenly do something like attacking another family young master? They must have a reason, especially if the family is stronger or at least at the same strength, because if they did something like that the family could pressure them," he pointed out.
The young master looked at the boy in front of him in surprise. To be able to see the large picture, the young boy is clearly smarter than even people 5 times his age.
"I'm not sure the reason but the Uru Family is weaker than the Hal Family," he told Esran, who was in deep thought.
"Do the two families have a strong influence in the same field? For example, military or economic influence?" he asked again, the young master looked at the boy in surprise.
"Yes, both Hal and Uru families have some influence on the military, the two families provided the capital guards with weapons and officers, and most of Hal's family members joined the guard when they came to age," he told Esran, having some clues if to why he asked such a thing.
"Then it's simple, they must have felt something changed and tried to weaken the Hal family to gain greater influence in the military. They might even have a powerful backing to make them dare to assassinate you, the young master," he explained, the young master looked at the boy in shock.
The other young adults, with the exception of Ryker and Ina, also have the same look.
"Why do I think I'm going to feel dumber just by being near him?" Mashia whispered to Era and Miriam, the two nodding in agreement as they heard more theories from the glass-wearing boy.
"If that's true, the backing must be quite strong," the young master mumbled.
"It might be a family as strong as the Hal or stronger. A family that wanted to expand their influence by taking over what other families hold," he pointed out, the young master's eyes went wide as he heard the idea.
"Thank you little one. What is your name?" he asked.
"Esran. Yours?" Esran asked, the young master had never told them his name.
"Solance, my name is Solance Hal,"
