Ryker and Hylla flew quickly, only making quick stops at some small settlements. They are currently inside a barony, with the Baron possession cultivation around Genesis Source realm, so not much of a threat.
It also means there are very few treasures, or to be more specific, treasures that would benefit him and some of the stronger women. While there would be some treasures that could help his weaker lovers, he had plenty of resources for them so making a stop is just not worth it.
However, they began to slow down when they spotted a huge mountain with mist surrounding the peak. "So, this must be the place," Hylla said, looking at the mountain.
"The local said there must be Tier 7 Genesis Beast, maybe even Tier 8. Dangerous for them but would not be much of a challenge. Plus, they are right, this place has a lot of energy, enough for your ascension," there seemed to be a tint of envy in her voice, one that Ryker could not help but tease her about.
"Oh, is someone jealous?" he asked, Hylla looked away as she pouted, clearly finding the entire thing unfair. She had been a Genesis Source expert longer than him yet he was the one that reached the Genesis Spring first.
Albeit, his strength for above her even when he is one major realm weaker than her, so, it is understandable for him to rise so quickly in terms of cultivation realm.
The only thing she could do was do her best to solidify her foundation so she could reach the Genesis Spring realm too.

After taking down the Genesis Beast, one that is a Tier 8 by the way, with what many could say, a slap, Ryker took a meditative stance as he began his cultivation.
Hylla was sitting far away so she could see him ascend to the next major realm and take some not for the future.

Ryker immersed himself in the energy of the area. While not comparable to the Cultivation Chamber inside the Duke's Mansion, it is purer if he word it right.
Using the Celestial Energy Art, he absorbed the energy with ease, focusing on breaking through. As he cultivated, he could sense some changes inside his Inner Realm.
Taking a quick look, he could see the energy contained by his Source is beyond what it could hold. While the energy tried to escape his Inner Realm, he used his qi to prevent them from leaving, refining the energy as he overfilled his source.
To become a Genesis Spring expert, one needed to absorb and push the boundaries of one's reserves. By overfilling one Source, they will soon meet their limit.
When one reached such limits, they needed to use excessive qi to push and break the limits, expanding their qi reserves. Once one achieves that, only then will they be considered a Genesis Spring expert.
Because his qi reserve was bigger than normal, twice or maybe triple that of normal people, it meant he needed to absorb an exorbitant amount of energy to become a Genesis Sprinf expert.
While he was not sure of it, he was sure the energy he absorbed was more than enough for maybe five Genesis Source experts to break through the Genesis Spring.
He was not dissuaded, he knew his consumption of resources and energy would be beyond the normal cultivators, so he was ready for it. However, having greater reserves, besides requiring more resources to ascend, also meant one needed to have better control of their qi, as the massive amount of qi they contained can be detrimental during ascension.
As the ascension between major realms required some form of improvement inside their Inner Realm, it meant one needed a better degree of control or they might fail their breakthrough. That is why even the person with the highest qi reserves, aside from him, would only have about a fifth more than what the average had.
He focused back on his cultivation, pushing the boundary of his Source, constantly expanding it. Soon, he felt a wall preventing him from expanding his reserves.
Knowing this would be the wall that would prevent him from becoming a Genesis Spring expert, he absorbed and refined more energy, pushing the wall as great as he could.
Soon, he could feel the crack forming, the wall soon about to break. He persevered with it despite feeling his qi and soul straining. He knew if he stopped, his breakthrough would fail and he would suffer from a serious backlash.
Of course, he did not wish for that so he kept doing his best in his attempt. Soon, he could feel the wall shatter as his qi reserves expanded and greedily absorbed the surrounding energy.
He let it happen, slowly filling his reserves, referred to as Qi Spring. Similarly, the reserves of Genesis Lake and Genesis Sea are respectively called Lake and Sea.
After he absorbed his fill, he got to work on consolidating his Spring, making his foundation firmer and stronger. It did not take him long before he finished that, as his foundation had always been his strong point along with his qi reserves.

Finishing his cultivation, Ryker opened his eyes to the sight of Hylla looking at him in shock.
"How much qi reserves do you have?" she asked him, clearly floored by something.
"Yes," he answered, receiving a pinch on his cheek for his cheeky answer.
"No matter, we should get going. By the way, how strong do you say you are right now?" she asked, curious about his current strength.
"I am not sure but if I have to guess, I can beat a 7th Stage Genesis Sea," he answered, Hylla shaking her head, muttering monster while at it.
He rolled his eyes hearing that before a mischievous thought sprang into his mind. Slowing down, Hylla did not notice anything until his hands went behind her thigh before she lifted her, Hylla squealing in surprise.
Now carrying her in a princess carry, Ryker gave her a cheeky smile, "With this, we can go faster," he said before flying at a speed that surpass most Genesis Sea experts.
She could only scream as Ryker flew so fast that the only she could stop the wind from blowing into her ears was by burying her face into his chest, Ryker tightening his hold on her as he let it happen.

"So, did you enjoy the little flight?" he asked, holding her as Hylla sat on his lap.
Hylla did not deign to answer him, puffing her cheek as she pouted and looked away from him.
