Inside the Secret Realm

As the Genesis Spring expert thought about the future, the cultivators that entered had suffered from entering the place.

"Make way! Make way! This father is about to barf!"

"Get away! Get away! Eww, it got into my clothes!"

'Plap,' "How dare you dirty this young master's clothes,"

As the cultivators suffered from the side effect of entering the secret realm, Ryker merely looked at the surroundings with interest. After all, he was one of the few who knew that the place was a secret realm created by the death of an Earth Source realm expert. Well, a part of it anyway.

Besides, he has a high tolerance for being involved with spatial phenomena. After all, he had once used a teleportation formation when his cultivation had been non-existent. So he had used to such a thing.

He looked at his group members, sweat dropping at the side of them trying to regain their senses, some could barely tell which was up and which was down. The Genesis Core experts fared a bit better but still suffered the side effect of being teleported inside the secret realm.

He decided to take a casual stroll first, staying close to the group while observing the resources near his vicinity.

"To think there are so many herbs in the area," he exclaimed, seeing a lot of Grade 1 Genesis Herbs, the herb of such level akin to grasses growing in a field from how numerous they are.

The others also realized such a thing, some of the ones that came in earlier had already harvested most of the resources in the periphery. He even watched some of the more interesting fights.

"This old man had already picked this one! Go to other places!"

"You go to other places, you geezer!"

Even when the two argued, the most they did was shoving at each other. Then again, the resources were plentiful so there was no need to fight to the death.

He waited patiently as his group mates were already up and ready. He gave them a curt nod before he walked towards the field. The others did the same. While the herbs wouldn't help increase their cultivation realm, they still have families that could use this to cultivate.

They could even trade some of the resources for something that could help their descendants in their cultivation. In other words, the field of herbs is the best way to ensure the future of their family.

As more and more people harvested the herbs, the numbers dwindled until there were no more left. Seeing this, the mass of people dispersed, heading towards other areas, looking for another treasure load that could be nearby.

Ryker looked at Solance's grandfather, the elder calling out to their group. "We are still at the periphery so it would be a bit safer. To ensure we would get the most out of this trip, we would split up, with one group having a single Genesis Core expert and two Genesis Foundation experts.

This is something the higher-ups had already decided so we could only follow their advice for now. The Genesis Core experts would hold a communication token. In case of an emergency, they could contact the closest team for reinforcement.

As for Ryker, because of your strength, you could wander off alone. But still, watch out for any danger. We don't know anything about this place, so some caution is advised," Ryker nodded at the elder. Seeing this, the elder let out a sigh of relief, making him roll his eyes.

"There is nothing else from me. Other elders, do you have anything to say," seeing how no one came to speak up, the elder continued, "Create a team and then set out," with his words, the members of the group began to find their closest friends and a willing Genesis Core expert.

As for Ryker, he had already left the group, intending to find treasure useful for him or his family.

"Young master, the target had left the group," the stalker said, the voice on the other side laughing hearing the news.

"Good, tell me of your location, I will head there immediately, "

"Yes, young master, I'm at-" the token in his hand was snatched by somebody. The stalker looked at the attacker, spotting Ryker who was playing with it.

"So he wants to make this a life and death grudge?" Ryker said coldly, glaring at the stalker. This caused the stalker to feel fear, something he didn't expect to feel. After all, the person in front of him is merely at the 8th Stage Genesis Foundation while he was at the 5th Stage Genesis Core.

The fear turned to shame, which in turn turned into fury, "The young master would punish me for killing you without his permission but I could always make a story of how you forced my hands!"

The stalker dashed towards the younger man, who looked at the attacker with absolute disinterest.

"If someone at the 9th Stage or peak Genesis Core was the one to say it I would be troubled, but what someone like you count for," Ryker used the Monkey Lord Fist, not even bothering to use any of the Law he had comprehended to enhance its power.

The attack made the stalker feel fear. He launched his technique. To his horror, his attack was destroyed easily, the punch hitting his chest and sending him flying. He landed with a heavy 'thud', coughing up blood as his internal organ was rearranged from the attack.

"He is too strong! I have to get to the others!" he exclaimed. But before the could take another step, Ryker had already appeared in front of him, looking at the stalker with disdain.

"Wait! We can talk this out-" he could barely plead for his life when Ryker beheaded the stalker. Seeing the corpse, Ryker glared at it, hoping his glare could be sensed by the one behind the stalker.

He opted to do something else though, after all, he needed to let the young master know the consequences of coming after him without sufficient preparation.

Horo and his entourage reached the spot at around an hour after the fight. While they couldn't see the fight themselves, they could see the winner of the fight.

"Urgh," Horo tried to hold himself from releasing the contents of his stomach. His subordinate, thankfully, had already used to seeing such a thing. But it still makes them nervous to see the corpses of their fellow in such a way.

"There are messages on the corpses, young master. It said, if you want to fight, then send someone stronger than this weakling you pathetic brat,"

The young master was torn between barfing or yelling. In the end, he lost the contest, his stomach's content gracing the ground.
